Your color sense is really great and the embellishments you do take it to the level of fine art. Beautifully done every time.
Thank you so much Karen 😊🎨
Congratulations on your first video! I love your narration as well as your painting. You teach while you paint. 🦋
Elaine I have learnt more from just watching Cathleens video's from the time I first discovered Cathleen 1 month ago than what I learnt in 12 months
Awesome! Love love love!
Leah Faketty Thank you Leah. One if my favorite names 😊
You are the queen of fiddling. Fiddling gets me in trouble sometimes. LOL. Beautiful painting. ❤️❤️❤️
I actually loved the gold. Maybe a touch of it on the opposite side to marry the colors but we all have our favorite colors. Love the injection idea! You always give me great inspiration!
Cathleen Once again you have taken your work to yet another level. I just love this.
Heather thank you always darling 😊

Beautiful painting! I love the details you added to it.Thank you so much for your kind words! I've discovered the injection technique while filming my "40 color acrylic pour on two canvases" video in November 2018. I wish you could have seen my face when I saw all the cells appear! It was priceless 😂. I still can't believe how much this technique became popular since then... It's crazy! By the way you almost pronounced my name right. The end of "Fournier" sounds like "yay". Fourn"yay".😉
Elyse, so nice to see you here. I am Star Struck. You are the most talented, creative acrylic artist out there. What I would do to sit in a room with you and watch you paint girl. Thank you for your kind words. Happy Painting Elyse. Please keep them coming. Peace 🎨😊🖼

Lesley Lang Lesley those are smiling words 😊 thank you sooooooo much. Happy Painting Girl 🎨😊
That painting is absolutely beautiful, you are so talented in your art finishing.
The negative space works to the advantage of the coloration done from the tilting and stretching. Nice results, thank you,

I love that you have showed us how easy it is to make a plain pour POP with embellishments of paint. Really like this one. And I agree with the gold. 24K gold might have worked.🤗🤗😎 Hope the sun shines on you today...
Kaye jones thank you Kaye for always joining me. 24 karat next time. Great minds. Happy Painting Kaye 🎨😊

And you so kind. Thank you Maria 🖼😊🎨
OMG! Just tried it! Was so excited when I flipped the cup I forgot to do the injection but still very pretty. Second one, where I remembered to do the injection turned out so cool. Thanks for sharing!
Show me girl 😊🙌🏻🎨
So I couldn’t sleep & decided to scroll back through your beautiful videos 🥰 & now I’m wondering how the heck have I not seen this one before 🥺 it’s so beautiful 😍. Ok I think I’ll try get some sleep now.🥰👩🎨🎨

I love your art work! It's amazing! Your paint is so thick...I can never get that consistancy, but I'll keep trying! Getting ready to try you spray paint creation!
Very effective Catherine. Love the colors. Glenis
Thank you Allan 😊🎨
Wow Coz, you fiddle so awesomely. It turned out masterfully! Loved the cooper & teal so much. You are right abt the gold. It's Just beautiful! Thank you for your mixing recipe! YES! I'm going to use it in my next painting. I have a gallon of GAC800 + 1/2 of a smaller bottle & haven't had success with it. But, i think I'm going to give it another try thanks to you. Gina adds 10% floetrol to water instead of plan water for consistency. Perhaps I've found the best mixing recipes now. It's been a real struggle. So thank you Coz. You are a pure delight to watch! 🥰😊🐇❣🙋♀️ Happy New Year to you & your loved ones! Hope you feel better Coz!😚
Thanks so much Roxy Girl. Glad you joined me. I love my pouring medium. I have experimented with many. I always come back to my 75% Floetrol to 25% Gac 800. Let me know how it works for you. Happy Painting Roxy Girl 🖼😊🎨
I like it.
robstar thank you rob⭐️
Cathleen, you've got me mesmerized here darling. Ahhhmazzing... what you can do with a little paint. Going to have to try this one soon. Colors are delicious!
Thank you Kelly B that copper and teal together makes me happy. Have a great day and thanks so much for joining me 😊🎨🖼
Un altro bellissimo pezzo. È così espressivo.
Rick Friedman Thank you so much you handsome man you 🤗😊
I love this.. I would like to see it on a larger scale.. the colours are awesome 🥰
Thank you Linda. I almost always paint on size big. I prefer big canvases. Hard to do when your filming. Half the canvas is off the screen 😱 bigger canvases, more room to play 😊🎨🖼
J'aime beaucoup je m'abonne !!
👏👍😍
Wow loved it he design when you lifted the cup. O wouldn't have wanted to tip. Lol. Lovely pour
I know about not wanting to tilt. I have experimented with the no tilt forever. Someday I will be able to flip that cup and leave it. 😊🎨🖼
Miss C... as usual I am in awe of your work.... wow... I must learn that injection technique too... oh gosh it could have some dramatic results.
Wanted to speak briefly about SAD... Seasonal Affective Disorder. Yep it's a thing... I unfortunately learned about it from growing up in New Mexico, but living 27 years in Canada. It was overcast for literal months in the winter... and I got really depressed etc...
I'm a quilter and we tend to exist in the little pool of light from the machine hahaha... but that isn't necessarily a good thing. Then magically my sewing ladies started speaking about special lamps that you can sit under or by that simulate sunlight... and low and behold... your body gets all happy again, and it just... helps...
Not to say you have depression or anything of the like, but it helped me tremendously so I wanted to mention it, in case you'd like to research.
For me... it is the bomb to curl up with a book... (or phone and RUclips vids haha) and relax.
I realize this is a year on, but be well my friend, and take care of you!
Blessings and hugs!
Nalla I have it as well. Comes in the winter months for me. I worked outside for 30 years. Inside in the winter was hard. That’s one reason we moved south. Stay happy and well 😊
J’aime beaucoup cette toile. Merci
Thank you Justine
How’d I miss this one! Elyse is one of my favourites! I think she uses much thinner injection paint. Ive only done one and thinned it down with some water...very cool results.
Elyse is a Rock Star Biner. She is beyond talented. Nice to see ya again and again. Thank you 🎨😊
Gorgeous! Whalebird. This is just stunning. I think you have an award winner here!!
Cathleen another beauty. Love the colours and agree about the gold even though I'm a gold lover. Love the embellishing. Hope you feel better soon, lots of Vitamin C and a red wine or two might help :)
Thank you Mandy. Good to see ya. Yes on the vitamin C in the am and red wine in the PM. It has help me to sleep better. 🤗🎨😊🖼
Very beautiful Cathleen I love injections . This turned out perfect. And it really isn't a waste of paint considering that it's way more PM than paint being used. I just did a painting where my gold took on too much of a yellowish color and I don't like it either I'm thinking next time I will just use a dab of white in between my gold and any color with blue or green in it . Anyway thanks for sharing as always. 😘😘
Thank you my friend for always joining me. Love Love the Barrista Pour 💪🤛🏼❤️🎨😊
Oh Cathleen!!! My heart skips a beat seeing you art studio. I hope to be building one this year in my garden. I love your work and try so very hard to copy it. I just don't understand though! Why oh why! I can't get any cells! I'm in England and the products you use are very expensive here. I've tried EVERYTHING 😂 but I won't give up.
Shelley from London☺️
Shelly I wish I could help. I don’t know what you have there. Do you watch Julie Vatcher? She is wonderful and in England as well. Please check her out. Love Julie Vatcher.
Thank you for your reply🥰
Very pretty, I love the colours. You voice doesn’t come through very loud, but, the music is loud.
Gloria Schwartz thank you Gloria. I’m working on the volume thing. New at this stuff. Lots to learn 🎨😊
ok , i was afraid not to hear suddenly ....!
Beautiful colors & composition. I've seen another artist who heats a needle or pin to pierce the cup. Hope you feel better - this respiratory virus crud is hitting everywhere. I'm in my 2nd round since Halloween...it just doesn't want to go away! Thanks for sharing the video!
Ugh Cheryl since October 🤢 you poor thing. So hoping mine doesn’t stick around. Feeling real good today. Grateful. Thanks for being here Cheryl 😊🎨
I sometimes poke holes in my cup and place a piece of tape on it and then flip and pull the tape 🤗🌞
Thank you Bobbi. I will do it 🎨😊
Great Idea Bobbi! Going to do that!😊🥰🐇❣
I've thought of that so many times!
I really appreciate it when you instruct through your videos as you did w this one. While I enjoy the music, I like to see where you are going with the painting and why, etc.
Thank you Poured Blessings I generally talk in the beginning. It’s hard to talk as I paint. Intend to hold my breath 😊 plus I love just putting my music on and getting into my zone. Thanks for stopping by 😊😊
Just a hint...when you do the top cup...poke the hole in the cup first and scotch tape it then you just pull it off after the flip...I live your stuff wonderful work
Thank you Paulette. I have since learned this. I also only use paper cups now. Much easier to poke 😊🎨
So beautiful. Looks like a waterfall... Copper n teal looks awesome together. Would the technique look different with just the artist's loft white? Loving this technique! Feel better.
Elyse thank you. Yes it would be a bit different . The cloud mix makes some lovely effects 😊
Have you used Masters Touch Red Brown. It dries so shiny and metallic like. I use in most of my pours. It reminds me of copper that you use. You have to try it I bet you will love it. I haven't done any injection pours. But I will now thanks for letting us watch. 😎
Hello again Robin. I have not tried it. But I’m putting it on my list. Thank you. I love my earth tones 😊🎨
I would love to see your technique with the black and white that you posted last week. It looked like a flower.
Kaye jones Yes please?!?!
Kaye jones I will do that for ya Kaye 🎨😊
Paul Startart does injection pours too. This is reall cool!!
Ulla thank you I will check Paul out 🖼😊🎨
Bellisimo
Hi and thank you for sharing your talent and tips. Just thought I'd make a suggestion... if you will heat up your push pin tip and get it hot, you can poke a hole right thru the cup, without any effort. I saw how you struggled to poke the holes and thought I'd just make a suggestion. Hope this helps. Happy painting. 😀
Christi that’s a great suggestion. Thank you. I usually use paper cups. Much easier. Happy Painting and thanks for being here 😊🎨🖼
I love this.. I see a whale tail and pelican.. coastal creation..
Thank you Kelly
Thank you for doing this video! I do love the color combo, it’s beautiful!! Hey, in your intro you said you were going to use AL metallic cobalt blue; but when you poured your cup and going forward, you were mentioning teal. Is that metallic teal? I really like watching you embellish your pieces. I love it! 👍💕🎨
Hello Sharon. My bad. Hard to talk, Paint and teach 🤪 it was Decoart Metallic Teal. Good catch Girl 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 your paying attention 😊🎨 I like that ♥️
LOL Funny how you just said "It look a bit alienish" I saw a rising phoenix and Yes I can see an alien. Very interesting how people interpret a pour.
That’s very pretty. I love the technique. Hope you feel well soon. Cathy Pickwick Tn
Cathy Clemmer thanks for being here Cathy from Tennessee. Love me some Tennessee. Happy Painting Cathy 🎨😊
Gorgeous colours and composition. I’m also loving the box that you’re pouring over. Did someone build that for you?
Hello Jo. Not sure what I was pouring on here. But I use a large washing machine tray. Available at all hardware stores. 😊🎨
Love this painting. Glenis
Thank you Allen 😊🎨
At 10:16 it looked like a bird with outstretched wings getting ready to fly! Love it!
I wish I had stopped at 10:16 🥴 thanks for being here Kota 😊🎨
Fascinating! Beautiful. Tell me about the satin enamel - is it like house paint, and what difference does it make? Thanks, Jan
Hello Jan. The satin Enamel is different from house paint. You can buy it in most craft stores. Not sure why, but it creates wonderful lacing and cells. I wish I paid better attention in Science Class 🤪🤔😊
Beautiful and I love the white space. I’m a beginner. You don’t have to add silicone to get the cells?
No Diane you don’t. I never use it. To much work to clean it. I would rather be painting 😀 I let the paints make those cells. 😊🎨🖼 thanks for joining me Diane.
You doing great in your voice sounds fantastic You should look in to the metallic green leaf in artist loft. When using the liquidex I used 10% gac 800 as I did that.
Painted love I will check out the Green Leaf. Thank you 🎨😊 tell me more about your PM please with the Liquitex Pouring medium 😁
@@COZCreationsArt this is Mary. Medium is extra ...so I use 2o % gac and rest Floritrol mix with the paint. I just go by thickness and then use about tablespoon and half maybe each 8 oz bottles .
Painted Love MD DEZINES thank you Mary. 🎨😊
Cathleen Do you frame all your canvases? I just love that look of the flow of paint down the sides.
Only some of them Heather. I like the sides as well 😊
Love it! Where can I find the DecoArt satin enamel? I can't find it anywhere, Is there a substitute I could use?
Patti it is very hard to find. Amazon has it sometimes but it’s very over priced.
I actually liked the gold color, even if it went more yellow than you wanted. I think a bit of the third color makes the piece more interesting. Question; how do you decide when you are done? Have you ever "overdone" your embellishments?
Cathy yes oh yes I have over done many a time. It happens to us all😜😜😜 some times I stop at just the right moment. How do I decide when to stop 🤔🤔🤔🤔 when I’m done I guess.
hi sweetie, one question, what's your ratio PM to paint please?
again an awesome piece, my injection paintings were no success I think, but someone bought one of those paintings, funny as always....
ps. take vit. D3 plus K2, has to go together, when you dont have enough sunlight, we do that 6 months a year at least....
Doris Ondella hello Doris. Thanks for the vitamin tip 🤗 I’m 50% paint to 50% PM unless it’s heavy body paint. Then a little more PM. I do it by touch. It’s like warm honey and leaves very little trace when you pour it from your stick into the cup. Hope that helps 🖼🎨😊
@@COZCreationsArt thanks yes it does help.
Love your work Cathleen. Question:why do some of your pours have nice cell activity and others have almost none.
Bette that depends on so so much. My Pouring Medium, the different paint densities, how thick the paints are, the colors used, the paint types I used. It’s a good question. I have a love hate relationship with cells. 😊
I live on the lake. It looks like the ducks that fly up out of the water. 😎
Thank you Robin
Your work is amazing. I woוld like to understand once and for all what is special about Artiste's loft color?
Thank you Shoshi. Do you mean Golden Paints?
Why do you mix the white with satin enamel?
Hello Debbie. It helps to give me nice lacing when I do paint injections. 😊🎨
This great ! What is your pouring medium please that would be very helpful thank you 🙏
Hekpllo there. My PM is 75% Floetrol to 25 % Gac 800
Pretty... looks like a bird in flight!
Carol Menard Thank you Carol 🎨😊🦅🦅🦅
Love the colors. I just don't get good results everytime I use white. I use the artist loft products too. You painting went from meh...to Yeah! It's all in the fiddling😆
Do you use water on your paint? I noticed that 50 to 50 is still very thick 😘
Hello Maria. Good to see you. Almost never use water. Sometime a little with metallics. My paint aren’t very thick. My PM with the Gac800 makes them pretty fluid. Camera is a little deceiving I think. Happy Painting 😊🎨
I’ve seen other mix the whites better knew why. Thanks.
Hello Debbie. Did you have a question about the white paint? 😊🎨
COZ Creations Art I believe you answered it really. For nicer lacing correct? One more question though. You mixed satin enamel with gloss right ?50/50 mostly.?
Debbie I mix the Satin enamel with my pouring medium. Yes
I love this I’m gonna call this whale in the water
Thank you Kitty, yes on the “Whale in the water” thanks for joining me. Happy Painting Kitty 🖼😊🎨
