Ramy RC Have you thought of the Livery yet? Personally I would go for a finnair livery because it looks soooo nice. I’m not finish so don’t worry I’m not biased :)
Excellent as always. One thing I noticed during the epoxy resin/ laminating sequence was that Ramy was using the epoxy straight from the mixing cup and not from a shallow saucer. It's normal to mix resin in a deep cup (which ensures the epoxy and catalyst blend thoroughly), and then to tip it onto a shallow tray or saucer. Mixed resin is exothermic - it generates heat as it cures - and if it's left in a deep cup the heat builds up very quickly and reduces the working time dramatically. Depending on how hot your workshop is, a cup of resin that would normally give you 40 minutes of working time may turn to an unusable jelly in around 5 minutes! Carbon-fibre and epoxy is very expensive stuff, so please remember (if you're fairly new to composite work) to spread it out thinly in a saucer to stop it overheating before you've had a chance to use it. Of course, Ramy has a great deal of experience with this kind of thing and knows exactly what he's doing. I just thought mentioning the shallow tray thing might help prevent anyone else getting in an (expensive!) mess when working with 2-part resin. :-)
Love your work Ramy! You are an artisan of the spirit of the renaissance. Do me a favor and spend some time on flight theory. The crash of that amazing 787 was avoidable. I'm sure you've had a lot of comments about your mistake but hey...these things happen and we learn from them. Airliner wings are designed forn efficiency. When they are completely vertical to the ground they have no life. Fighter jets can do it because the typically have a 1 to 1 on better power to weight ratio with wings designed for 3D acrobatics. When you are wing tip high 90 in a 787 gravity still pulls straight down. Wing tip stall. Hang in there man and keep building these beautiful birds.
Ramy, I got a new rallying cry for you, Why not? 😊 so great! “I’m not sure this will work, but I’m willing to try. Why not? “ I salute your pioneering spirit. It’s people like you that blazed the route to the West!! Keep it going. So good. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Fantastic skills, thanks for taking the time to document this so well. I highly recommend mixing the outboard spoilers in with the ailerons during flight for roll control. It will help with adverse yaw and will give you greater control at low speeds. It reduces the tendency of tip stall brought on by aileron use near stall speeds especially useful near the ground where recovery is near impossible. I had full span spoilers on one plane and with flaps deployed on landing the control I had was amazing. Full scale uses them in that way good reason. Deploy them all on landing to keep it on the ground. You’ll love it !!!
Sir I love your new method of using all these fancy machines but miss your old SKILL of making everything by hand, not to be against modernization, but i do miss ur old videos. You r the best n most inspiring kind caring loving... And ur PASSION can be seen (heard) from your voice of creating art (the beauties) Love from Pakistan Take care and well wishes to u and ur family
What I find amazing is watching his evolution...from chopping foam core on his knees with xacto blades to 3d printing and composites...wow! Super talented guy
i'm from Malaysia, enjoyed seeing you create all parts and build from scratch.I'm here done have the luxury to do that as everything is very-very expensive from the tools until the material you use to build the airplane.
Vids like this Ramy will encourage the builders and reduce the reliance n foamies. Great effort to use different modelling materials. Something we can try to incorporate in our own efforts.
Some amazing work. In my everyday work I build wings for a 2 seater airplane in 100% carbon fiber. One point I would like to share with you is that if you made the skin of the wing in to the shape it need to be your would not need all the ribs and beams if you want to save weight. That beeing said, it is an amazing airplane you are building and your craftsmanship is impressive!
Hey Ramy! Amazing work as always!! Have u thought of vacuum bagging your carbon composite parts? You probably would find more strength, less weight and less bubbles. Just a thought. Either way. I love the work u do. Keep it up!! BTW, as a dad of 5, I’m living vicariously through your vids.
Hi Ramy, I hope you see this message since there are so many here... A Facebook friend of mine Ross Bathie uses 1mm rolled cork sandwich between composites instead of balsa or aramid honey comb. He said it is very light and strong and doesn't soak up resin. Basically carbon or glass/1mm cork sheet/glass. Might I also suggest you get a tempered glass sheet as your work surface. A old sliding glass door can be had fairly cheap. Lastly I would buy or make a vaccum pump. A old working refrigerator compressor works great as a pump. I've seen how to easily convert one on line. I think RCGroups has a couple articles as well. Stay well...
Ramy!! OMG!!! I am SOOOO impressed with your building skills. EXTRAORDINARY!!! This aircraft will undoubtedly be a masterpiece. Stay safe and THANK YOU!!
@@RamyRC Sounds really good! Have you thought about slats also? Definitely helps for high angles of attack and should be easier to do than fowler) Nevertheless I am impressed with your wings!!
@@RamyRC I just installed 3d prined fowler hinges out of PLA and installed them on my 240 cm wingspan plane and it work perfectly, if you print it out of PET-G or ABS it would perfectly fit your projet. If you want I can send you the link of the file and explain you how I modified it to make it stronger
First of all, amazing, as usual; you're extremely talented and skilled! Now, talking about this wing, what fascinates me is that, what with those spoilers and versatile flaps, it looks more complex and intricated than the wings of many vintage airliners. In your hands, RC model building has been elevated to an art form. I absolutely love your work.
Ramy may I say YOU ARE THE PRO, when it comes to constructing an aircraft of this magnitude👍♥️, you've got the patience and curisma to do perform a great job on this type of hobby👍👍 LOVE IT KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!! AS OF YET, have you done an A380??
OMG Ramy , What a great Video Just watching you build this AIrbus Its awesome man , cant wait for the next section of the build Right Wing , that means getting closer and closer to the end result will be a beautiful model once all done and God Bless With the Maiden as so hope it flies as well as you put it all together and all from scratch thats crazy you make it look so easy but i know building is hard and extra hard from scratch so big credits to you on that my friend , so till next video Stay Healthy too and all the best you and Family man , Cheers from the Land Down Under.......
You are the best model builder and youtuber in te world! I cant wait for your next video and I want to see that huge bird flying successfully! I really like you your work! Keep going!!!💙💙👌👌
I LOVE your build vids! Your ingenuity and creativity in problem-solving and the actual build is AMAZING!!! Also love your explanations for what you do and why. Very inspirational!
You are no doubt a master builder... few questions 1. whats the material of the joiner outer tube 10:35 2. You are using aer ply for the whole internal wooden structure ... no balsa anywhere? 3. Are you using regular epoxy to bond the skin to the ribs and frame structure Cheers
Stay healthy!

a kevlar hinge for the spoilers would've worked perfect! the workmanship on this is just insane man. well done
Incredible Ramy, you use composite materials like real constructors... I am admirating 😌
Always enjoyed the building process as well as the first flight. Stay healthy while we as Americans go through this crazy Corona virus.

Always amazed every time I watch one of your build videos. To say your work is incredible is truly an understatement.
Ramy, Have you thought about building Fowler type flaps (Multiple segment) on this plane because that is the type on the aircraft actually..
Yes I have, I will make some fowler hinges when I get my own CNC machine.
@@RamyRC Sounds really good! Have you thought about slats also? Definitely helps for high angles of attack and should be easier to do than fowler) Nevertheless I am impressed with your wings!!

Fantastic work always enjoy your video's
The a350 does not have Fowler flaps. It’s a single piece flap, just like on ramys build, that airbus calls ADHF “advanced dropped hinge flap“
Hey great work! Keep the V-Stab fiberglass and hide antennas in there.
or H-Stab would also do.
