Guys! I'd like to suggest this video to you, it explains why we should all be serious about the current situation. Let's care for each other by staying at home. ruclips.net/video/BtN-goy9VOY/видео.html Let me know if you would like to see more detailed videos like this, also let me know what I should explain in my upcoming videos.
Hey Ramy, just an idea, when your are almost finished the model, please assemble it completely before it’s been painted and covered. It will look really cool seeing all the carbon fibre as an assembled model in photo’s
He's already put putty/pre-painted the fueslage so it will probably not look as good as you think, but I agree with you, it would've looked really cool.
This is the kind of videos that I like most during this quarantine. I am a captain in transition from Airbus A330 to Boeing 787. Today I was supposed to finish my training but due to the virus, I am at home. RC is my loved hobbie ever but no time due to my work. Now I have time and I enjoy very much with your professional work, projects and solutions. Congratulations and many many thanks for your videos. Let’s hope that life will bring us thousand of normal days again.
Remy thank you from Australia for your isolation therapy! I was born 1947 and watched my dad assemble Tiger Moths from crates. Been close to aviation all my life, am so grateful to see every little detail you do. I was there in the tissue balsa days then foamys but I walk with turkeys watching you fly as an eagle.
Hey Ramy, thanks for the content. I really like the format of you explaining stuff while you do it, instead of music in the background. Keep up the good work!
A good trick I saw people use to apply thickened epoxy is to use a "icing pouch cone thingy" , the thing bakers use to make pastries or put icing on cakes . It makes a nice bead of glue and you can control the size by cutting the corner more or less. When you're done with it just through it away , no cleenup needed !
Thank you Ramy for keeping the moral up and being honest about the situation at the same time, you show us that it can be done. Let us enjoy your beautifull skills!
Ramy just a tip for spreading the glue to join the parts together. Use wax paper rolled into a cone, fill it with the epoxy & micro balloon mix, fold over the wide end and cut the tip. Use it like a pastry bag to squeeze out uniform lines of glue where you want.
Hi Ramy, for your epoxy + micro balloon mix, your can put it in a small plastic bac (like to freeze food) and cut the corner and there you go, easy and no mess! Keep the videos coming and all the best in this tough period!
I admire your building skills. You really know how to manipulate the material you are using . Carbon fiber is not easy to use. In my opinion your greatest skill is bringing the scale of the plane into life to where it is very realistic.
This video was great. Thank you so much for making it. It’s great to see the mold prep, framing, fitment, and all the other little details that go into building these amazing aircraft.
Ramy, Boeing or Airbus will hire you in a heartbeat. You can be chief executive engineering on the floor. Keep making the videos, so so good. Thanks. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😊
Hi Ramy - love your work. I would recommend a plastic zip lock bag for the filler - good for mixing thoroughly by closing bag and squeezing it around, then snip a small corner off to let you squeeze it out like icing on a cake- I use that method for canoe building
Beautiful! You could put the glue in a glove or plastic bag, tie it closed, and cut a hole in it to squeeze the glue out in a bead (the same way a baker decorates a cake with icing).
4:16 The huge part is particularly the MAIN FITTING and the bottom is the "Shock strut". and then you have the "Torque Link" connecting the Main fitting and the Shock strut together.
Thank you for making this kind off planes, but can you show howto make from start the mold for the winglets, 3d print, and prepare them for casting. Thank you
To lay down a nice bead of epoxy like you did when bonding the two halfs of the stabilizer, I recommend using a plastic sandwich bag that you fill with the epoxy and then cut off one corner and use it like a piping bag for cake decoration.
Great stuff, keep it up. One thing I do to seal/smooth PLA prints is lightly sand then spread superglue over the whole print using my hand with a latex glove on. It seals, strengthens and sands easily to a smooth finish. Do this outside as the fumes are a bit intense.
Loving the extra footage highlighting details of technique and material used. The more detail the better IMO. Looking forward to your future videos. Keep up the awesome work.....Your a gifted individual. Safe safe!!
Thank you Ramy for bringing us these great videos, watching your videos is always exciting and fun to watch and now since many of us are having to spend even more time at home because of the virus situation world wide your videos are helping people take their mind off from the virus ( even if for a short time) and bringing more happiness during these difficult times.
I really love your videos as they are very informative and fun. Can you please make a small scale aeroplane like the Qantas Boeing 737 you had made but this time explaining each and every parts and especially the connections? That would be really informative and great. Looking forward to it
I love your video, a great detailed explanation, please continue them. It would be great to see the landing gear build in detail, and the engine pods and installation of the DF units, and attachment to the wings in detail.
Hey Rammy. Really nice material that you put out for us. Thanks a lot. I use a ziplock bag for applying the bead that you need to join your control surfaces. Put your micro balloon mix in a small bag and then and cut a corner of the plastic bag off and squeeze it through the hole on to your surface. This plane is gonna be epic. Can’t wait to see it finished. Covid 19 has hit South Africa and hope we can control it as we don’t have as much discipline as most Europeans do. Hope we can pull together and control this virus
I love your channel. I’ve been following for a while and have no disliked one single video. Great content. Great enthusiasm about all that you do! Keep it up and look forward to everything to come in the future!
Diese Art von Videos finde ich besser weil man da auch nicht 100% schauen muss bevor man noch was verpasst. Außer dem kannst du von diesen Videos auch mehr mache.
Hi Ramy The resin/microballoon glue is easy to handle with a pastry bag, you can easely make it with a piece of glossy paper. To reduce the bright spots on the layup you can try to sqeeze the resin, from underneath through the fabric with an old credit card or a rubber squeeche (gummispatel). (seen by "B-1 Bob") Thanks for your Videos
You should add pilot holes and extrusions in the two parts of your moulds to help with the alignment, atleast in theory! Two videos in one week! Keep this up please💙
You have hands of genius😲, you do your project with great love and passion, something that I appreciate by watching your videos. I wish you good luck in this A350 project and look forward to seeing the results of your construction 🤗
For the glue joint between flight surfaces if you put your mix in a polythene bag with a small corner cut off it will act like a disposable icing dispencer and give an even spread.I hope this is helpful for you. Regards Pat Willis.
these videos are very relaxing to watch.. it's cool to see someone build something I myself do not have the skills for to do myself.. also, you have GREAT taste in music btw.. thanks for that!
Hi Ramy! I really like your videos, it is rare that people show how to build stuff. I’d like you showed how you build stuff with carbon fiber and what exactly you used. Keep up the good work!
Hi, nice work! I have a few ideas for a better result! Apply at first a resin layer with tixotropic component! It works against micropinholes! After laminating the 50 gr. Glas, apply Resin for the Carbon fabric! Then put the Carbon into the mold, now laminate it with a dry brush or/and with a rubber spreader! All tested by myself with very good results! If you have any questitions, no Prob! Sorry for my losy english! Best regards, Walter!
Great Job:) Sometimes i use a clear plastic bag and cut a bit off the corner for epoxy with microbalons. So i can press it like a silicone gun. Thank you for Sharing your work and expertise with us. Stay healthy :)
You sir are amazing. Been watching yer vids for a couple of years now. Keep up the good work. Wish I had the cash to even start wot you do. If yer ever in scotland...............
I LOVE IT!!!!!! But for some reason, that thing looks bigger and bigger EVERY episode. Seriously, that aileron was HUGE! Even the EDFs looked big. I hope those 10-blade EDFs can make enough thrust!
Hi Ramy When you said you should use a silicone gun i had an idea. When I mix glues (epoxy and micro) I put it in a small plastic bag, then cut the corner off and apply the glue like you would put icing on a cake. then once your done you can just dispose of the bag, no mess and its easy.
Ramy... in regards to using the expoxy with microballons - you could try using the cake decorating piping bag idea with a cheap disposable bag made from paper. Roll a piece of paper into a cone, fill with thickened expoxy, fold over opened end a few times. Then cut the "pointed end" to a size opening that seems appropriate. Simply squeeze the bag to extrude the epoxy to make your fillets.
What a good soul you are, Ramy! God bless you! Just remind your viewers of the importance of boosting your immune system by loading up on vitamin C, which greatly reduces the oxidative stress caused by the viral infection e helps the immune cells fight off the virus.
Hi Ramy, Sorry to hear about your current situation, soon Australia will be locked down as It's only a matter of days, weeks until everyone is told to stay home. It's great to see you use your quarantine time to keep on building this beautiful A350 XWB. Oh so you think we are boring, no we can't get enough 🤣 Thanks again Ramy until the next one, peace out👍
Love watching your build, I can see the worried look on your face, Chin up lad you have extra time in the workshop more people watching your videos and when all this is over, you will have a epic model to fly that will be Awesome for all to see.
You can use PU foam to fill some voids and hollow spaces.... It's light weight and works great.... Love your videos.... Keep it up, you are the best.... :)

Hey, you said your using Hand sanitiser all the time, you should use soap more , It kills NoroVirus as hand sanitiser doesn't.
Thanks bro..same goes to you I wish I could join you so I can help you build...be safe bro...love you 😊😊
I live in spain and the situation here is reeally bad..
Congrats for 300k
What livery are you going to apply?

I wonder what would those guys in Airbus will say when they see Ramy "reversed engineered" the A350 all by himself!😂
@@johanbraaksma6541 do you guys even washed your hand 50 times and sanitize it like Ramy did before working?😂
👍

Thanks for giving a good message against fighting the virus .
I honestly liked this video more than the regular build videos. It seems this has less editing. Less loud music. Keeping it simple is always good!
What a better way to spend quarantined than creating a new plane and sharing your skills with us all. Merci.
Thanks for posting. Glad the hinges turned out well. Pretty sure your can get PVA in a spray can too us that's easier. Stay safe!
Oh yea I need a spray can and a silicone gun for my resin.
I like the Schwarz, Rot und Gelb (Gold) wire for the servo motor power ;-)...keep these great video's coming Ramy!

Ramy thanks for calling out being sanitized and keeping everything clean.. I love your videos dude. Keep them up.
Hey Ramy, thanks for the content. I really like the format of you explaining stuff while you do it, instead of music in the background. Keep up the good work!
The fun of watching the build aside, I like your choice of music. It doesn't interfere with the "action". Thanks!
