Love the logic of the problem solving. Looking at all of the work you have done to this boat, you mentioned it was "abandoned". Sounds like you got it for very low price. The progress shows how much from the original hull you have brought this boat - inspire all of the moves.

Good idea.. as long as you have enough space between. Lock stack the containers as if on a ship if you can.

We use to build them on job sites using 8 of the larger c cans , ours was used from heavy equipment, first we prepared the base then filter cloth , heavy liner , then placed c cans one side ,rig mats for centre floor then other cans ,the roof had rounded trusses then heavy canvas waterproof , they worked great

So why not bed all your windows and hatches so you don't get water inside? The new structure is awesome but for a little extra protection it might be good to bed everything, and you can you just use butyl tape so when it comes time to paint it's a little easier to get everything off. I never built a boat before but it just seems weird to do all the interior when The boat is still open to the elements.

Good question! We have a few more steps to go before the furniture goes in. Therefore we haven't closed off the windows because it makes it impossibly hot inside when working. (Imagine a tin can in the hot sun). Summer has passed though so this might not be a problem anymore. Just this week the weather has cooled down so taping off could be a good option. Cheers!
