Enki was the god of the waters, therefore he didn't want to be used, by his brother Enlil to destroy the humanity that Enki created. Therefore he opposed him! Plus the only way that could've had happened, only if they took the DNA of every animal! Otherwise the feeding and the waste would've been impossible. I know that the powers that be, don't want you to talk about ET. But they themselves do say they came from the sky what else could that mean. C'mon was the fear?
Haha no fear here. I will definitely tackle the Anunnaki as ET another time. I simply wanted to stay true to the mainstream interpretation, since the ET is seen as "Pseudoarchaeology"

I'm curious, other than the epic of Gilgamesh, what are the sources for the rest of this story? Is it collected from a variety of ancient Sumerian and Babylonian artifacts? Or are there other examples of preserved stories, like we get with Gilgamesh? In any case, loving your work! Keep em' coming :)
A lot of information is collected through fragmented sources/tablets, and doesn't exist in it's entirety like the epic of Gilgamesh. The Eridu Genesis is one such example. A lot of details are missing in that tablet, but are later fill in from other findings across the Mesopotamian region.
