This is the mythology I like hearing about. The ancient stuff , the ancient gods and their history. It’s more interesting than stuff they learn about nowadays. Thanks so much !
Is there a book that I can buy that talks about Mesopotamian/Sumerian mythology without trying to convince people that these were aliens that visited us thousands of years ago ? I just want to study and learn more about this stuff. I don’t want the ancient alien interpretation mixed in with it.
It's definitely hard to find extensive texts about mesopotamian mythology that doesn't conflate them with ancient aliens. I'm not sure of any book and most sources I find online are very difficult to read. If you want a lot of details then you can't just read summaries. You'll have to read the translations of the ancient tablets themselves.
I like your channel because you’re honest, more honest than the guy from the “Anunnaki Ancient Mystery” RUclips channel because he says that there were no demons or personified evil entities, or concepts of hell in Mesopotamian/Sumerian mythology. And that the concept of evil spirits and hell evolved over time, but you’ve proven that there were evil spirits and the concept of hell in these ancient religions.
This story is about us. We are the dry bones, we are the souls craving living water. Will you not take the gift of life? The light came into the world, and we could not comprehend it. Revelation 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. *And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely*
Tammuz/Damuzi was chosen largely because for three days, he was unaware Inanna (had begun her katabasis and subsequent anabasis) know she was "gone." Or what is considered the typical birth and death cycles found in many regions around the world. This disrespectful and insulting lack of awareness and mourning gave her the means to escape the underworld for good, by choosing Damuzi. 😅
@MythicalArcana Heaven has no RAGE like LOVE to HATRED turned, nor HELL a FURY like a WOMAN SCORNED. "CULPAE POENAE PAR ESTO" "What goes around comes around. Sometimes, you get what's coming around. and sometimes you are what's coming around." Veni. Vici. Vini. I would usually quote the woman scorned. Old age must it be.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I study the academic versions of religion, theology, religious philosophy, history, Divination, astro-theology, astroscience, omens, philosophy, (anthropology, sociology, psychology, religious syncretism, schisms, cultural assimilation, cross-culturaloretc.), semiotics, symbology, art history, mythology, legends, folklore, beasts, monsters, creatures, cryptids, Ancient Near Eastern history, ancient (dead or extinct) languages, philology, linguistics, ancient history, witchcraft, magic, sorcery, exorcisms, esoteric, occult scienece, the support, the preternatural, paranormal, and the supernatural in relation to DEMONOLOGY, etc.

There is an Oxford book called Myths From Mesopotamia that is pretty good. Absolutely nothing about ancient aliens.

I don’t understand why everyone would go to the underworld after death. Where is the hope from all this darkness and lack of beauty.
The Hope is in Jesus Christ The Lord Of Everlasting Light and Life ♡
