Hey friends! So I did double laminate the cover after this video and it’s perfect now! Much more ridged and still just as clear so highly recommend! (Do it before punching if you can but I was able to repunch over my old holes pretty easily.)
I’m so glad you tried it & it worked for you! 😊❤️
@@ThankfulNanaDiane Thank you for the instructions! Worked perfectly!
That is so pretty. I love the vellum layered over the flowers ❤😊
Thanks so much 😊
Lovely results.
Thank you! 😊
Beautiful
Thank you!
Awesome video , thanks for sharing !
Thanks for watching!
You really have done an awesome upgrade on your Planner.❤️👍🏻. It’s definitely always nice to upgrade something and especially for each season if you are one who enjoys taking the time to do that. God bless you and have a blessed day. Hugs always, Sue M.❤️🙏🫶🏻🥰😎❌⭕️
Thanks Sue!
Gorgeous!! I love your DIY projects!
Thank you! 😊
I'm new to all of this. I absolutely love me some clear dashboards. A way I've found that can give them some sturdiness: include a sheet from an overhead projector. It is clear when all is said and done, but I get some thickness and strength in my finished product. I really like it also, if I want a clear dashboard, but want to write something on it. I created a work page that I can use wet erase markers on, by writing on one of those overhead projector pages w/ the wet erase markers, then laminating so the headers I drew wont be erased. Now, I can put in calls or emails, list a to do for work, and erase it at the end of the day. And the lettering underneath the laminate is see-through. Just thought I'd share. Really enjoying watching your RUclips.
I love your diy creativity! I may have to try your techniques on something in the future. TFS! 🤗💕
Oh also I bought a planner and I noticed that you could use the plastic thing that they hang them up as a clear divider and if you brought in the width slightly you could even have a clear cover
Thanks for sharing! 😁👍
I made this last night after watching this video a couple times. I just love the look of it! Double lam with a double pass is GREAT, especially with having 3mil on hand and my machine only goes up to 5mil. I wasn't sure if it would seal well enough doing double 5mil. It's just SOO beautiful. Thank you! I would love something for summer. Sunflowers have my heart. Do you have anything I can check out?
I have a seasonal diy for all the seasons. Here is a link to my summer version last year: ruclips.net/video/ognh29gahAA/видео.htmlsi=nNa2JAMkSgmHd3DN
This looks beautiful! Thanks for the free cover. Blessings.
You are so welcome! Enjoy!
Love the flowers!! Thank you for the freebie!!
You are so welcome!
What a great idea for spring. Thanks for sharing this with us
You are so welcome! Enjoy!
Have you thought about doing stickers? You know how much I love your products I would buy from you. I'm already starting next year's planner (budgeting) so i can buy all these different spreads you have on etsy. (Also maybe more custom ones)
Maybe one day for stickers…hoping to get some printable ones in the shop at some point. 😁
So cute!! I’m going to try this soon and I will tag you on IG so you can see what I made!
Please do! I’d love to see how your DIY turns out!
Thank you for this & the free printable. I love doing DIY (& saving $$$) too! I’d love if you did a word printable for a faith planner, maybe a Bible passage, names of God, or just encouraging words of a spiritual nature. I love the one you did with fall words last year, & I’ll be putting that back in my frankenplanner in the fall. 😊❤️
Thanks forth suggestion! I will see what I can do.
Very pretty! Thank you for sharing.
You are so welcome!
Thank you for the freebie. So awesome. Going to print these out tomorrow
You are so welcome! Enjoy!
Thank you for the freebies! This is beautiful! I bought vellum after your Primrosia video. My granddaughter has been making covers for her "planner" [sketchbook], now I get to make some covers! 😊
That is awesome! I am so glad you can both get crafty with vellum now 😉✂️💕
These are beautiful thank you for providing the links. I’m going to give this a try.
You are so welcome! Happy making!
Sooooo pretty!🤗 Totally reminds me of Jane's aesthetic. Which color printer do you use?
It is the brother laser printer linked in the description. I really like it! 😁👍
Awesome video.
Glad you enjoyed!
This is stunning, thank you for the freebie can't wait to use in my planner
Thanks! Hope you enjoy!
Really enjoyed your video as usual! I definitely needed to see this for a #SpringREFESH I just purchased GORG Floral Digital Printables to create a disc-bound planner using Blackout Inserts.
Ooo, sounds cool! Do you share it online anywhere?
I noticed when using your disc punch you started punching in the middle of the cover vs starting at the edge..did you create a guide to help you with that? I have the punch too to make covers and just was wondering your method 😊
Not a guide exactly, but I have found starting from the center and working out is the best method for punching. I just measure the item end to end and then divide that measurement in half. For this cover, the center was at 4.875” or 4 7/8”.
I see you measuring before you do the first punch with the power punch can you explain exactly what you’re measuring always try to line up another piece of paper with the power punch, but sometimes it gets off and I have to re-punching it turns out really ugly
Hi Kim, so that is me measuring the center mark, which for the hp classic cover is 4.875” or 4 7/8”. It’s the best way I have found to make sure the punches are centered on any diy project. 😁👍
Thank you
Is the vellum you print on printable or regular vellum?
Just regular vellum but I do have a laser printer. You may want to test it out if you have an inkjet printer. 👍
Sometimes punching aluminum foil in your punch will sharpen the punch
Yeah, I tried that but it hasn’t made a huge difference so far.
