I just discovered your channel by accident. Was looking up stainless steel egg cookers and came across your Cuisinart video 😊 I like how you make cooking seem simple.
So glad you stumbled upon it! That’s my whole goal - to make cooking approachable for everyone and empower you to cook. Thanks for much for watching and happy cooking 👍
You have provided another reason for me to buy an instant pot. I will begin shopping and comparing. Thanks The item at the end is for baking corn bread, which goes really well with chili. I see what you did there! 😃
I use my "Instant Pot" quite often. I get to do other things while it is cooking. I rarely use the Slow Cooker anymore as I usually forget to thaw out what I am going to cook. The trivia item is for making cornbread and somewhere over the years, mine got lost. Thank you for doing what you do.
Usually, I just make chili on top of the stove in a large, enameled iron pot. It really doesn't take more than an hour once the ingredients are prepped. I would never consider buying canned chili! My husband wants chili for supper since it has turned cold here. That's an iron corn cake pan for making cornbread shaped like ears of corn. I have a few of these and they would go great with the chili!
Add some ditalini pasta, a can of great northern beans and you get one of my favorites, pasta fagioli. Re trivia: it's a cast iron cornbread (cornstick) pan
Trivia: Something for cooking corn (?), but that’s as far as I can guess 😂. I love my Instant Pots, and will definitely try your chili recipe. Thank you for your interesting videos. 🙏
Thank you for your videos:) Have you heard of Jamaican dutch pots? Well known brand is Enco. I believe they're alumunium and usually begin as bright silver and darken over years of use. Would love your take on this pot - especially re health.
I must protest draining the beans. Pouring free aquafaba down the sink! Just throw the whole can in the pot! You're already adding beef/chicken/veg stock, throw in some bean stock too ^-^
Congrats on the purchase! You’ve got this, my friend! Start with something super easy like rice or oatmeal. For rice, all you need to do is use a 1 to 1 ratio of rice to liquid. Just dump in the ingredients, a bit of salt, and press the rice button - you’ll have terrific rice in an instant. Maybe start with white rice for simplicity. Enjoy!!
@@IWantToCook Thank you for the confidence boost😊. I will take your advice and try rice tomorrow, That might pair nice with my lemon pepper chicken that is thawing out. Just watching this video, wow It looks so easy and tasty. Here's something, I've never even had chili before, were not so big on it here in Ireland, but that looks delish! I do have ground turkey and plenty of canned beans...hmm, this is a must 😊
@@IWantToCook I live like two mins from Bono's old house where he grew up. He knows my uncle and knew my ma when they were still in school. I actually found a birthday card Bono gave to my ma when she turned 18. It was in a box I found in the attic. Pretty cool. If you ever do come, try some Dublin Coddle its a soo good and easy to make :)
AH..........dont drain the canned beans...!!!!!! use that liquid !...... well ..actually do what you want .i dont care, ........just a suggestion.. lol.

I have used this Lodge corn stick maker for over 30 years. I'll be using again when I make this chili!
Hope you enjoy it! Happy cooking 😀
Oh man! I want a pan just like that! I wish we had more information on it. That's what I would use to make chili.
🙌
Use for baking cornbread with one side looking like kernels of corn. We had one of those when I was a child. Now I am 84 and still have one..
It’s for making cornbread pones!
Cornbread pan, or as we call it here in the south cornstick pan. They bake cornbread in the shape of corn cobs.
Yummy yummy corn bread!
Add some ditalini pasta, a can of great northern beans and you get one of my favorites, pasta fagioli.

Thanks for watching! This is the first I’ve heard of such pots. I will do some research on them 👍
I love making chili, stews, curries, etc at this time of year. I love topping chili off with some diced raw onion and maybe a squirt of mustard
Love this channel!! New subscriber ((((:

Cast-iron mold For making cornbread.
