Man, the first thing I made in my instant pot was a pot roast.
And honestly, I couldn't tell that it wasn't slow cooked. It was delicious.
Yep. I prefer my pot roast done in the instant pot. I'm not sure why there's didn't break down properly, but I've never had that issue.
I like them struggling to find the food and feed themselves TREMENDOUSLY better than the weird fake hands and shovels and whatnot that comes from the outfield. It's SO MUCH FUNNIER.
I don’t think I’ve enjoyed the chaos of blindfold eating more than in this episode🤣 The reaching, the gigantic portions, the Link feeding, the near “forking”... it was nonstop laughs!!

It's hilarious how most people think the instant pot is some kind of new technology. It's just a friggen pressure cooker.
To be fair... I think it's come quite a way from a traditional pressure cooker, regardless of that's all it's doing. My dad loved his, and lord knows I wouldn't know what to do with it. 😆 No easy digital options. Just a pot with a lid that had a valve thing on top. Hahaha. So digital options? Revolutionary! 🤣
Umm sort of but not really a traditional pressure cooker requires a stove top and lots of hours.. instant pot doesn’t

Yeah it’s just really well marketed. There are plenty of other brands that make the same basic device, which is just a self-heating pressure cooker with a timer.

I kinda feel like the "worth the wait" factor isn't really that good. I like crock pots because I can get dinner ready early and leave it all day and by the time it's dinner time it'll be ready to go. Easy peasy.

You might be able to cook a roast in an instant pot in an hour, but if you leave it for just an extra 30 minutes, it will be way better than the crock pot guaranteed.
