I don't think I've ever seen a naked cake with the piped frosting layer. It looks lovely! I definitely want to try this then try a lemon and strawberry situation. Keep up the great work!
That is a beautiful cake! Really stunning. If we want to sub out the fresh lemon slices for candied lemon slices, can you remind us where to find the cake recipe which used candied fruit? Or is that it's own recipe on your website?

I was thinking you could pick a song from an artist you both like, and each come up with a cupcake or cake design that you reveal to each other at the end. We know you do that so well!!
His actual response was, "Love this idea! he and I have spoken before about a collaboration!!" It was on his recent Neon Chocolate Splatter cake video.
I think I’ve only spoken to him once. It was a quick hello from me ages ago. I don’t remember speaking to him about a collab but I’m open to it haha. He and I are located in different countries though haha

You could fill it with lemon curd & top with with lemon icing or fondant. I also sometimes fold a bit of whipped cream into the lemon curd
@@shellyj7536 I tried folding cream and lemon curd before. But it curd up because of the acid. :( so I can only layer up lemon curd and cream
