American engine builder chap clearly knows his stuff. This is the sort of conversation you want when someone has your engine in pieces and making decisions about what custom parts to install. It isn't lego. It needs careful measurement, analysis and consideration. Love it.
Yep, the Americans sure know how to build a good motor. They've gone from hardly ever using turbos, to becoming world leaders in them in just a few years.

I’m way more excited about the M5 build than the GTR. Depending on turbo size u go with, I’d guess the m5 at less hp will drag the gtr in at least 50% of race scenarios

Just git my Dream car 2014 650ix. Only got to drive it 71 miles and engine locks up. Turned some rod bearing. Oil temp got a little high. I live in SC. July Temps can see 107 to 110 easy. I was sick for about week. Got on July 1 , I put it in the shop taking my time and taking it apart my self. Been working on anything from a gas engine to diesel most of my adult life. It's different but taking it on steep at time.

The whole set up in the garage ,and the american ( rasa) are very professional,would definately be confident with my car in their hands.should be very interesting when finished, but i would like to know what this costs, im guessing if you walk in off the street and ask for this set up, your probably looking at the best part of ten grand, ricky you need to let us no what this costs when finished.
Question to Raj on bedding in new piston rings. Is there any potential issue with ring bedding/sealing when the the bore hasn’t been re-honed like this case where you are using a very low mileage and in spec, but used block where the initial hone has already done the initial factory bed in?
