The boy playing Seaweed is handsome!!! And I liked it when the girl playing Tracy woke up with the boy playing Link by her side & they almost kissed, until the girl playing Penny & the boy playing Seaweed walked in! LOL!!!
OMG... These kids are wonderful. I absolutely adore this Tracey, she brought so much joy and life to the character. Everyone is really good and I laughed out loud at their comedic choices.... When Link sang to Tracy she was so animated and truly funny. There was one ensemble dude that was just fierce !! I lost it watching the Dodge ball scene. I wonder where Tracey & Penny are now. I hope they pursued theater in college. Would anyone else love to see Penny play Paulette in Legally Blonde ? She would kill it !! See you on Broadway Ladies...

Thank you for posting it. I'll be watching it multiple times in Quarantine. I wonder if Lily (Tracy) has social media that people could follow to support her .
Oh my gosh Penny Pingleton's sign with Words! written on it is he best one because then the people who look at it can make up their own words to why TV integration should be a civil right and then they are totally gonna join in the march! Well done Penny!! :) Plus love this production :) I'm dancing along on New Years Day happy about how far we've come to overcome racism! :) Words!!
This is the best Hairspray video I have seen! Everyone brings out a lot of character and excitement, and the comedic choices are awesome! Does anyone know who Corny is? He was amazing and would love to have his Instagram if he has one.
Great production!! one of the better ones on youtube. Only 3 things I didnt like in this act: 1. Corny was more attractive than Link was 2. Tracy wasnt fat 3. Tracy should have had her own little dance solo part in nicest kids in town (reprise)

I thought Tracy was really good! Though I didn't like how her hair wasn't as high, it didn't even looked glossy.
A lot of that has to do with opinion also sometimes people are better for the part even if they don’t look exactly how the character is imagined
