  • Journey into my essential long Range FPV setup in this video as I take you through the gear I rely on for my FPV adventures. Whether you're a seasoned pilot or just starting, I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have about the equipment featured.
Notably, I experimented with a 3D print today. If you're curious about this, let me know in the comments, and I'll dive deeper into it in an upcoming video. Vibrations on the Helion are a hot topic, often tied to battery placement and tuning, and I'll share my insights on these aspects.
Flying FPV in extreme cold comes with its challenges, and in an upcoming video, I'll shed light on the importance of choosing the right gloves for a more comfortable flight experience.
Filmed against the stunning backdrop of Lyngvær, Lofoten, brace yourself for extreme conditions. The wind was roaring at 25 meters per second, and the temperature plunged to a bone-chilling -10 degrees.
Feel free to drop your questions and thoughts below!

I enjoy watching your long range videos nice work 😊 I’m guessing a lot of people including myself would be interested to see you long range BOB57. I see the Gens 2800 is quite a light battery considering it’s size and only 410g according to the website. Out of curiosity how much flight time are you getting using that size lipo with BOB, and at roughly what cruising speed?
Keep up the great content ✈️👌🏻

Why do you get the ‘telemetry lost, telemetry recovered’ voice speaking during flights?
I get it occasionally when flying Bob57 & TBS Tango 2. I’ve not yet lost control or video but the voice is unnerving.
I’m pretty new to fpv but loving it. Just waiting for eves to improve now and I’ll hopefully be out flying loads.

Hi Philip and thank you very much for this video, I have the bob57 and I am very happy with it, the 1550 mAh batteries last too little and the large 3300mAh is heavy and unbalances the drone on the dives.
I think the 2800mAh will be perfect since you mostly use those as I understand it. I'm considering purchasing the Helion 10, I would like to know where I can get your GoPro mount, could you give me a link or info? Thank you in advance

Many thanks for the video. May I have a question? I see that you have a Gopro connected to BoB57 using the stock mount. How do you rate the recorded image? Do you have any vibrations in the Gopro footage ? I asked several people and, like me, they complain about micro vibrations in the Gopro image, which makes the image slightly blurry like in your film from Helion at 7:02 ruclips.net/video/tO26BrzmdNs/видео.htmlsi=xJZTLOavS8ENNU2P&t=422. I see that you already have a stiff handle for Helion... It doesnt work ?
