I see why Jason Williams doesn't like Kobes game 😂 Kobe was killing them
FROBE ! My personal favorite version, had the swag, attitude, and unreal athleticism!
Me too
Facts Athleticism paired with the all world skill couldn’t do nun with him 😎
I agree me too
Kobe's style of play from '99-'02 is the most appealing and captivating to me.
03 as well
Can you explain just wanna know
Grace, technique, quality of movement, sheer athleticism (he can get to anywhere on the court exactly when he wants to), agility (he can make any body angle advantageous to his offense)
*Edit* : Today I was physically threatened on the court by an aggressive player in a pickup game. His teammates were holding him back from running at me. I just got home opened RUclips and saw a notification for likes on this comment. Thanks, all 27 of you for reminding me what my own game is truly built off of and why I play the game basketball.
@joceja23 you can still double kobe
@joceja23 they were both commanding doubles
You're doing important work. Seriously. Kobe will not die as long as people remember his name and his game.
Frobe's athleticism is so sneaky. He makes a lot of dunks with little momentum.
Yeah man, crazy hang time!!
Nothing sneaky about it, he putting you in the rim at will at this point in his career
@@kaheemransom5825nah Fr though, it was death for you if you jumped with Kobe especially a early aged 20s kobe
Frobe 😂😂
Even at a young age he knew how to get the most out of his athleticism and skillset…
Late 90s/Early 00s Kobe was so much fun to match. Number 8 Kobe will be forever my fav Kobe. RiP Legend🙏🏾
24 likes how bout that
No he’s rt. 8 was so raw and amazing.
Kobe was not a sidekick, he was a co- star.
as ppl said batman & robin....i always saw it as batman & superman. A larger than life being in shaq....and a boy livilng out his DREAM before our eyes doing things in real time blowing our minds in real time but HUMAN like Batman. Just a dude that made use with all the tools/knowledge at his disposal laying down some on court justice with the big diesel.
@@anhiirr Well said.
"Number 8 was crazy but number 24 was scary!" - Dame #RIP #Mamba 🙏🏾💯
Kobe's career requires knowledge of proper context. Being a 21 year old shooting guard for one of THE franchises in all of sports, having to face the best perimeter defenders on any given team in the lowest scoring era ever was A LOT to have to manage.
By the following year, at just 22, he was truly on par with Shaq for production come playoff time.
Facts
Shaq was the MVP, had one of the greatest single seasons including the playoffs in NBA history individually, no Kobe wasn’t on par with him that year as great as he was in his own right- that narrative doesn’t add
@@PrinceSlade22 That was just one season. In 8 total seasons that they played together, Kobe had more All League selections than Shaq, on offense AND defense. They played 18 playoff series together. Kobe lead the team in scoring in 9 of them. So yeah...
@@melvinhhcp3615cooked him
@@Kwitzy Yup
Anthony Anderson is a good role player. Tough screens and great defense
😭😭😭
I really hope we’re getting more of these this is amazing RIP KOBE❤🙏🏾
Kobe Bryant is the reason why I started to pick up a basketball and started to watch the game of basketball which I truly love till to this day Rest In Peace to the black mamba ❤🐍
Kobe loves basketball so much he even loved playing it on a show. He was dunking those with more enthusiasm than guys do in games today
To me this is the season I consider the beginning of his prime also his real rookie season as a starter if u remove Kobe first 3 years (he wasn’t starting didn’t get minutes) and last 3 years (due to all the injuries) and count the 14 between 99-13 I wonder what his career numbers would look like those 6 years killed his career numbers.. this man went to 7 finals in 10 years 99/00 ~ 09/10 winning 5 the 3 years he didn’t go he was leading scorer and flat out best player in world 03,06,07 ppl don’t really realize how great of a prime The Great Kobe Bryant.. The 14 years he played full time 99-13 he was a top 5 player every year during that stretch also can’t forget the 2 Gold Medal he helped lead Team USA too.. How quickly they forget..
Finally someone who thinks the same thing I’ve been arguing with friends over 6 years off of his career and he’s still the greatest
Afro Kobe was my guy fr 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 my favorite version of Kobe forever. Just loved the calmness he always had every game and the mentality always ready to win. The hard work, the focus, the knowledge, always willing to learn, and the swagger with the Afro. Idk for me personally I just always like Afro Kobe the best 🔥🔥🔥
Kobe the true goat idc what nobody says
At just age 21, Kobe proved he has what it takes to be a champion and step up in crunch time when his team needed it - regular season and playoffs! And he only continued getting better every year.
Word! 💯
My eyes lit up at the sight of this. I love throwbacks!
And that opening vignette with Anthony Anderson 😂
Kobe is The G.O.A.T.
Don't let the media trick you kobe is definitely in the goat conversation we know what the hell we looking at
Thanks Max for your Kobe Videos! 💜💛💪🏼
Also noteworthy he hit his first game winner in this season during the playoffs against the suns and had some memorable performances like the one in Game 7 WCF against the Blazers with that iconic alley oop to Shaq as well as his Game 4 performance in the NBA Finals 2000 where he took over. And his athleticism was truly remarkable during that era. So fun to watch him & Shaq during those times. Rest in Peace Kobe 🙏🏼
Same Here Dawg
Kobe with afro was a menace rip 🙏
Gotta love some Kobe footage!
Just imagine being drafted at 18 years old in the mid-90's, being expected to win from day 1 on a veteran stacked team. Imagine being handcuffed by your coach, and coming off the bench for your first 2 seasons despite being better than any of the veteran Guards on the team. By your 4th season, you're a 21-year-old proven veteran superstar. The team acquires Phil Jackson as your new coach. The team starts winning, and you go on to dominate as a player alongside Shaq with numerous great performances, some of them being historically significant. You prove yourself over and over again in the playoffs, and the Finals as the best Guard in the league, and maybe the best player in the NBA. Your team ultimately wins 3 championships in a row. You have a couple of seasons of turmoil where the team is still winning, but loses in the playoffs and the Finals. Shaq leaves, and starts talking crap, and everyone starts trying to invalidate your career because they love Shaq's goofy TV personality. Now that Shaq has left, all of the sudden people start saying that you could never win without him, and that you were just a role player, or a sidekick on those championship winning teams. What does it make you if you prove those people wrong twice in a row? Kobe was already a certified first-ballot HOFer and an all-time great after that 3-peat, but by winning twice without Shaq when people were trying to invalidate Kobe's previous accomplishments, those last two titles made Kobe one of the top 5 player of all-time, if not top 3. None of those Lakers championships would have happened without Kobe Bryant on those teams.
facts, these highlights provided by this channel from 99-2003…kobe is as good as michael jordan. period, this is amazing stuff truly truly truly.
Besides being the closest thing ever to MJ, he's the most graceful scorer ever to me.
🙄
Still need that 09-10 szn max I know you won’t let us down 😂🔥
He's the best 21 year old in NBA history. Kobe Bryant reminds me of John Havlicek
lebron, Luka and MJ all have an argument , Luka didnt play D so he’s prolly 4th on that list but 21 yr old Bron in 06 avg 31ppg , MJ was a rookie at 21 and avg 28/7/5 with 2.5 steals come on man
Bron and MJ were both better at 21 years old. Stop the cap.
@@xaviervega468only better cause they didn’t play with prime Shaq
@@tevincollins2869😂 exactly
@@moneyman4740Luka is a improved defender
22:32 is something a lot of people don’t mention!!!Kobe basically had to be MJ AND Scottie throughout his time in the triangle offense. Not an easy task but 5 rings was the result
Facts 💯
Plz do Kobe Bryant's 2009-2010 season! Back-to-Back champion. Won 5th rings was iconic!
RIP to not just an incredible player but a loving and caring human being😢💜💛
Thanks Maxamillion 711 for another AWESOME Kobe Bryant upload!!
Young Kobe (aka Frobe) was so mesmerizing to watch. He had UNREAL athleticism along with his smooth mid-range game.
IMO, GM4 of the 2000 NBA Finals was Kobe's "Introduction to NBA Superstardom"
RIP Kobe Bryant 🏀💜💛🏆🐍🐐
Is hang time was ridiculous. As someone mentioned, he doesnt really drive with a lot speed/quickness but his elevation and hang is stupid!!
Damn miss this guy
Of course Kobe was the one to start the new Millennium off right
One of best to ever do it. Top 5 NBA All-Time great. Dope mix Maxamillion 711. Keep up the great work. R.I.P. Kobe.

The NBA was more fun back then.
Beautiful upload! I enjoyed it.

Kobe and Shaq hugging at the end brought a tear to my eye. A picture perfect moment.

Appreciate all you do Max!
💯
I FFEL IIKE KOBE WAS MAMMBA AS SOON AS HE STEPPED ON THE NBA COURT
Most offensively skilled player of All-Time
“Shaq carried Kobe” 😂😂
People who say that never watched highlights from those years. It’s a reason Shaq was able to win with Kobe and not Penny.
The Mamba K.B.🙌🏽👌🏾🐐💛💜
THE 👑BLACK MAMBA#8 .. FROM 👑LAKERNATION ..
The greatest baller I've EVER seen!!
Kobe my goat truly one of the best to ever do it.
W intro Kobe was not letting them win 😂
Good ol’ days of Saturday morning sitcoms…Hang Time
Reggie Theus came full circle working with Kobe. He was traded from Chicago to make room for Michael Jordan. Legend.
the Real BirthYear (2000) of the "Black Mamba".
Bro f*ck the stats. From a pure basketball standpoint Kobe is the best player I’ve ever seen and it’s not even close.
I love for u to do 09-10 season kobe highlights if u can, thank you
Phil was tryna tame him bruh, imagine if he was unleashed at that age? He got sick of it in 01😂
Please. Kobe never won a damn thing without Phil. He was the one that taught Kobe (and Shaq) how to win.
exactly man I couldn't agree more 😂✌️
37:25 damn that pixel with the fro really threw that one down
The way Phil smiles at 6:03 that play probably reminded him of MJ.
I saw that, I was thinking the same thing.
You should do his 01-02 highlights too
💯
its the only missing season now
@@afterthought6889That and the 09-10 season
LeBron has the stats but no one is ever going to convince me he's a better pure basketball virtuoso than this guy.
Goat 🎉
Bryant to Shaq! Walton on these calls RIP man I miss watching this 3peat live
My hero Kobe Bryant
Yo u the best
Where do you find these highlights? It would be awesome if I could watch full games from this time
I overall collected highlights from this era before RUclips existed. I’d contact people on message boards and make trades to get their tapes. I don’t have tons of full games. Just compilations of what they recorded. My main focus was on Vince Carter, so that collection is massive. I’m glad I did too, because most of vcs prime and best years aren’t represented on RUclips.
We need a Video of Nowitzki 2000-01, with playoffs aswell. THE ARRIVAL!!!!
Goat SZN are back 🙏🏽
11:35-11:55 whoever says Kobe didn’t have handles is SICK. Bro drop homie with the filthiest 1-step crossover 🤧
We Honestly haven't seen a Young Player like him since. It's been about 27 years now. yet kids think todays NBA is more athletic. Although they have stopped thinking that in recent Years cause I bring up Facts like this.
One of the best in-traffic finishers of all time....he was almost nonchalant going to the hole...and then in his gather he'd just ignite!
@@twiliteznexactly man I couldn't agree more ✌️
This style of game i want to watch more fun and exciting.
Rip Kobe ❤😢
I'm glad you're showing this it clearly shows Kobe destroying Sacramento all season so it definitely happened in the playoffs that's it....
THE ONLY TRUE GOAT THAT I KNOW 🐍🐐🔥💪
Can you do 2007-2008 Kobe?
🔥
Kobe was top 3 at this point.
kobeeeee
RIP LEGEND
If Kobe had kept this type of Play Style and Athleticism until his 30's he would've been the Second best Player ever. As it is though Hakeem then DRob are 2nd and 3rd all time. But think the top 2 could've been both Shooting Guards.
Way Way better and more Smooth than Lebron. the only people that like lebron were people that never watched basketball in the 90's or early 00's. They didn't watch a game until 2004.
@maxamillion711 can you please upload full 2004 season highlights 🙏🙏🙏
I missed the GoatSzn video man
Wow the greatest intro ever 😂💯
Can you do MJ 1987 or 1988 Highlights
