Thank you for the video. I just bought a 14 with the same issue and have been checking. I haven't found the FB group. I'm heading there now. Have already found the updated case number. Very good info.
I found an easier way. Remove wheels Knuckles Cv axles, next remove the bed, Exhaust shields Exhuast Top transmission mount Number the cables, brackets and hoses, remove them. Remove the starter Remove back cover behind the HST Remove sway bar bracket and swing the swaybar down and remove the two bolts on the lower transmission mounts. Now block up the engine and hoist the transmission out of the sub frame It fits out without having to take apart the suspension and sub frame. Also goes back in way easier
I have a Kubota RTV1100 S/N 31018, bought new is 2013, approx 1300 hours showing. It will not move in 2WD, shift to 4WD and it drives in all ranges and reverse. Engage the diff lock and it will move in 2WD. The problem is not stripped hub splines since the axle half shafts do not turn in 2WD. Anybody seen this problem and have a fix? The way I look at the parts diagram, it almost has to be broken or missing spider gears in the differential.
What’s the name of the Facebook group? I have 2 rtv-x1100 that won’t go into reverse so I’m hoping to get some pro tip fixes before I have to rebuild the transmission. Thanks for your time
Mines leaking engine oil from the crank wheel in the front. Do you know if I have to take off the whole engine or can I do it with the engine still mounted? I’m new to these kubota 1100 RTVs and having trouble with oil leak thanks
If you are talking about the front crank seal, you might be able to remove the seats and plastic under the seat and get to it. Or maybe try going from underneath. I am not sure since I have not had to do it yet.
@@atvrepairsandmore2482 awesome thanks for the info. I called a Kubota dealer and they had told me the same thing that I can get it by removing the seats with the engine still on there. Hope all works out well.
I have just started my journey with this same problem , thanks to you I will try to fix myself My parts have just arrived wish me luck....

No problem. I finally got mine back together and have been testing it all weekend. Seems to be doing good.
Thanks for all the info. I thought I busted it from my fault

What would cause it when you get it back together add every gear but low
Do you have the part numbers to the gear(s) and bearing(s) you replaced also?
Do you have a install video
How do you remove the axles? I can get the control arms disconnected and shock/coil off but how does the axle pull out of the transmission?

This video just answere a ton of my questions… where are the part numbers for case and seals located? I’m about to tear mine apart!
Never mind, lol I just found the part numbers. Thank you
@@ChrisBarber-ub3ek no problem. If you have any questions then feel free to ask. I’ll try to get back as fast as I can

How did you remove the rear shocks?I don’t want to have the thing come shooting off
I made a comment on how I remove the transmission, leave the shocks and everything in
What is the Facebook site you recommend? Cheers

Hi mate, I have a rtvx900 and it has just happened to me, I would imagine this should be the same transmission as your unit? Cheers
It should be pretty similar but I am not 100% sure since I have not messed with the 900
