Where to buy these miniature figures?
Local craftstores or stores for train model diorama’s may sell these. Otherwise, you might take a look at the websites below. (They are NOT sponsored and NOT affiliate links.)

If you don’t find what you want on these sites, or they don’t ship to your country, you can search for them online. These are h0 scale, or 1:87 scale figures. The three main brands are Preiser, Noch and Faller. Be careful with the cheap ones on sites like Amazon and AliExpress, because the cheap ones may have a melted look and a very bad paintjob.

Super gaaf topper!! Ik ben al een tijdje bezig met het maken van een stopmotion filmpje met o.a Lego. Een beetje de realistische wereld combineren met de droomwereld. Tot de volgende video!👏 ik vond de eerste foto het leukste vanwege de gebruikte materialen
Oh ben benieuwd naar het resultaat! Lukt het een beetje? Ik wilde de ideeën een beetje onderverdelen qua thema’s wat betreft eten en alledaagse voorwerpen. Persoonlijk vind ik zelf deze foto’s het leukst geworden. Nu maar weer nieuwe ideeën bedenken voor de volgende editie! Bedankt voor het kijken!

Love, love, love all your ideas! I have been trying to make the time for about a year now to take more miniature photography photos. Feeling like I don't have enough of the right equipment, know how, or talent holds me back from moving forward. But coming across your videos has inspired me once again. I'd like to ask two questions though, what lighting do you use? I use a photo box that has a strip light on one edge in the top of it, but I feel like it is never quite enough light for what I want to do. Also, how do you come up with your ideas? Like your Italian restaurant made out of grapes? Brilliant! Are these ideas that just pop into your head?
Hi Tiffany! Thank you so much for your kind words! I have those feelings as well quite often, so I know what it’s like. But we’re capable of more things than we think with just the equipment we already have. I have a photo box like that as well, but I never use it. It’s too small and indeed the lighting sucks. Window light is often a pretty good source. Because my studio has only a very small window in a slanted roof, I often use a daylight lamp in a softbox. It has beautiful soft light, comparable with a big window, but it isn’t that strong, so I often need a slower shutterspeed and a tripod. The softbox is also enormous, so I recently bought a daylight LED-panel. I still have to test it properly with photography, haven’t found the time yet. Nice thing of that panel is that it takes up less space, and it’s also brighter, but it produces slightly harder shadows. I don’t think there’s an ideal light source that fits all your needs, but if you can find a window where you can shoot nearby, that should be a nice option. Just use a big sheet of paper as a backdrop and build your scene from there! As it comes to ideas, I sometimes search for inspiration on Pinterest. Many people there share ideas for miniature photography. But also real life can be inspirational as well. Just try to replicate everyday tasks into a tiny scene. A book can be a building, a ruler can be a bridge, and so on. But indeed, sometimes ideas just pop into my mind when I see an object. An example is the restaurant with the grapes. I bought some grapes and when I held it in my hand, I suddenly thought it would be perfect as a restaurant! Your brain can be very creative on it’s own sometimes. If you have an idea, write it down immediately on a piece of paper or in your phone, so you can’t forget it and refine the idea later on. I hope that helps you out. You ask which one I like? I loved them all, each one has their own level of creativity telling a story. Even your video of "Walk in the Park" I think it's called. Both are absolutely inspiring. What scale are the miniature figures?
Oh thank you so much! Yes, “A Walk In The Park” is one of my personal favorites. I even did an exposition a few months ago with a few of these miniature photos in the hospital. The scale of these figures is h0 scale, or 1:87 scale. Usually for trainmodels. In the description I added a few links to webshops, (not affiliated) then you can browse through a variety of figures. Ik vind het weer een hele gave video geworden met 6 fantastisch goed uitgevoerde scenes. Ook je video montage is lekker vlot en toch voldoende informatief om te laten zien hoe je te werk gaat. Met jou creativiteit zou je wellicht eens kunnen onderzoeken of jouw stijl van fotografie geschikt is voor stockfotografie. 🎬🎥👌📷👌👍 Ik heb heel vroeger fotografie workshops gegeven waarbij we dit ook weleens deden in de openbare ruimte. Dus gewoon op straat of park. Ik heb weer genoten van deze video en kijk uit naar je volgende. 🙏😉

@@AppelmoesArtandPhotography Ik kon zo gefocust zijn met hetgeen waar mee ik bezig was dat ik niet eens door had hoeveel mensen er soms stonden te kijken. En het ergste wat je kan overkomen is vaak wel zo dat je met wildvreemde mensen een heel leuk gesprek hebt over wat je aan het doen bent (terwijl je eigenlijk door wilt gaan met je fotografie). 😉 Maar je kan natuurlijk ook gewoon in je tuin of op balkon een leuke setting maken. Maar je moet je vooral nooit wat aan trekken van wat mensen er over zouden denken. Dat verstoort je creatieve proces. Blijf vooral altijd doen wat je leuk vind. 😊

I like them all. However I like the bread mountain scene best. I have been looking for peopele sawing wood and others but, not having much luck. Where did you locate the peopel?
Hi Henry, thanks for watching! Well, I’m from The Netherlands, so I bought them at a Dutch webshop. It depend of where you’re from. I provided two links in the description of my video to websites that sell those figures. But prices may vary, so I recommend that if you found a set you like, you type the brandname and productnumber in on Google and find the one with the best price. If you can’t find sets you like on the webshops from my description, you can search on Google for h0 scale 1:87 scale mini figures. The main brands with good quality are Preiser, Noch and Faller. Watch out for the cheap ones on Amazon and AliExpress, they aren’t always good quality with a very bad paintjob. I hope this answer was helpful! I hope you'll find the miniatures you want on that sites, otherwise you can search on Google on 1:87 scale or h0 scale miniature figures for webshops that ship to your country. Be aware that cheap sets on sites like Amazone or AliExpress can be poor quality with a very bad paintjob. The main three brands are Preiser, Faller and Noch. A buy link for the figures, that's a bit difficult because it depends on your country. Not all shops deliver to foreign countries. If you want to buy these kind of mini figures, the best thing you can do is search for them on Google. The main 3 brands are Preiser, Noch and Faller. You can buy them on Amazon or AliExpress, but the quality is not always that good. The scale of these figures are 1:87, also known as h0. So if you type in the searchbar h0 scale 1:87 miniature figures, I'm sure you can find some shops in your country that sells them. They're often found in modelshops for train diorama's, but some craftshops will sell them too. I hope this answer helped you out.
