OMG Sam came to our stagecoach and sang this for us because she is doing it in cabaret and it was absolutely incredible. I always thought she was good on the tv but having her actually singing it for you in the same room as you are in is just a one in a lifetime experience. xxx

Jessie completely out acted and out sang Jodie and Samantha here, i backed Jodie from the beginning but Jessie's performances in the final were amazing, she should have won for sure!
It was clear in that clip Andrews least fav was Jodie cause when Liza was being nice about her he didnt engage and sound very enthuiastic but it might have been taken out of context...maybe he'd been gushing about her for hours and was getting sleepy! lol!

I don't think that's true. Jessie's been pulling more sympathy. I really don't see Jessie as the Nancy that was in the film. Jodie's not just more experienced but she's a stable performer.
i agree that hers was better than rachels. before i saw it i said to my mumn that i'd seen a lot of versions of cabaret on youtube and rachels was the best i'd ever seen. Then i saw sam do it, live, and she was truely amazing. I prefered maybe this time but that may just be because i prefer that song.
Jodie's Send In The Clowns was one of the highlights of the show for me :-) I agree that she was a bit too cabaret in some of her performances but I don't think she was the only one. Most of the girls fell into that trap at some stage cos they didn't sing in character (hard to sing pop songs in Nancy mode!). It'll be different once Jodie is moving around a stage in character.
My perfect result would be: 12.Amy - Loathed her screeching 11.Tara - Couldn't hold a tune 10.Cleo - Not enough experience 9.Ashley - Too cheesy 8.Keisha - Good at belting, but not much else 7.Samantha - Too poppy, didn't think she was strong 6.Francesca - West end voice, but not Nancy 5.Jodie - Cabaret, much? Good though. 4.Niamh - My favourite, loved the vulnerability. Could be a different kind of Nancy. 3.Sarah - Very good, maybe too happy 2.Rachel - Great actress 1.Jessie - Nancy.
was an amazing performance, but i still think sarah's solo version was better. jessie annoyed me in this a little bit, jodie was fantasic, and samantha was good. my final 4 would of been: jodie, sarah, niamh and rachel ♥ so chuffed that jodie won :]

Jodie was not cabaret. Then again most people who like Jessie do not like Jodie. I think people did vote for Jodie because she's their vision of Nancy, not just because she's funny. I really don't see Jessie as Nancy personally. She's too masculine in her movements to be my Nancy.

I think Sam might be a better performer thanks to this. I think she never realized just how beautiful her voice could be when soft.
