What happened to his mic technique, keeps moving back to look at the guitar (and pedal/s), and the voice drops away, haven't seen him do that much before. Also the screams are weak... seen much better versions than this, even recently.
Yeah same, I thought he was getting back into screaming more after seeing some recent other performances of this song. It’s to the point where whenever he shows even an ounce of emotion in his vocal performance the crowd goes crazy :/
It’s because he’s mostly using line 6 stuff. His rig looks to seem like you need to be more precise with where you stomp. With regular effects pedals like he used in the 90s you just gotta stomp in the general location and it gets the job done.
