Can anyone really blame trunks for running to the past all the time when he's literally the only real fighter left on Earth? he doesn't have an edgy rival, or a bunch of martial arts buddies/children or a couple of gods that could intervene on his behalf.

Fr, Vegeta pisses me off when he berates him for running, often forgetting that if Trunks didnt "run away", then he would have suffered the same fate as his future self.
I mean his momma knew that there opps on other planets , not only has she been there she help invented the ship. She easily could have A) built him a space ship (don’t wanna hear shit she built a Time Machine, multiple she can build a space ship) B) Built him a gravity chamber C) this one im not 100 percent sure on but she knows who king Kai was and bro’s phone is always on. I always looked at it like he got super and never really put much creativity into training resources because they never had a vision of a higher power.

I like the idea in concept. Unfortunately, the Z Sword was turned to stone and shattered when Trunks fought Dabura. For some reason, the Old Kai wasn't released when this happened. Perhaps due to the magical properties of Dabura's spit.

You know what? I had that realization while I was typing that, but I went back to your video to look at the Sword Dabura turned to stone and noticed they are different swords (0:47 And 1:51).

You know what, I would really like a scenario where Buu kills Babidi while Trunks is in the past and befriends Future Satan or another Earthling, becoming good. I just want to see Buu helping rebuild the world.

Considering how many citizens and powerful fighters were exterminated by the androids on Earth, followed by the destruction of those androids and Cell by Trunks, I think there just would not have been enough energy on Earth to revive Buu. Even with Trunks’s energy, I think they likely would not have made it that far, and Babidi would likely have had to scour the universe for that energy. It most likely would have taken far longer if ever achieved at all.

Well, that is what Babidi was expecting to begin with. He had to find Buu first.
I have a theory on why Babidi arrived late: he's a coward. He spied on Earth but noticed the androids were both powerful, and unreadable. He was afraid they might be stronger than Dabura and didn't want to risk losing him to prove it. So he waited until they died by old age(he wouldn't know they don't age/age slowly). Babidi is 5 million years old, he could wait his time. Which is probably why he did in the main timeline; he's super-lazy and thinks because he doesn't age(or ages super-slowly) he can be really casual about it. The Cell timeline's Babidi could just take a bit of energy, comes back in a few centuries and do that routine until in a million more years he has enough energy. Assuming Cell's Zeno doesn't decide to test and/or destroy the 8 universes with low mortal level

Trunks is my favourite character in dragonball.
Never hesitated, always used the occasion to his advantage, aware that taking action now means less destruction. He did not gave enemies a chance to change, he is the judicator and a true hero.

Alot of people complain about DB Super but this is one of a handful of things I'm glad the writers threw in was how Future Trunks made a bitch out of Dabura.

It wasnt a plot hole, present bulma learned from future bulma how to get the fuel. In present time it was aquirable easier than in the future most likely because of the destruction from the androids
As soon as trunks would have been seen a threat he possibly would have been absorbed and there was nobody to save him he'd have just been a permanent part of buu..
Fat Buu never tried that though, not on Gotenks or Goku. And Super Buu is unlikely to appear at all.
Then Shin Budokai: Another Road becomes canon.
Maybe if Future Gohan survived the Androids, maybe Babidi would have had a little more energy to gather to revive Majin Buu
there's no Majin Vegeta, so this plan not going to happen. Trunks would have killed those two by any means necessary.

If we go by the Manga Full Power Super Saiyan 2 Trunks was almost as strong as Super Saiyan 3 Goku who was stronger than Fat Buu
Not to mention that Goku's ssj3 was WAY more powerful than the one he had in the buu arc. Trunks is pretty op

That actually would've been badass to see. But I have one question about this: What if after defeating Fat Buu, rather than dying he transforms into Kid Buu just like in some of the video games? Would Trunks still stand a chance or would he be utterly screwed?
SSJ3 Goku told that there was a chance that he could have killed kid buu. So SSB trunks is more than enough to kill kid buu. I doubt it would even create any problem.
No it would have been the end of the future timeline for sure. Majin Buu would've been too much for Trunks

@ISHMAEL WILLIAMS He stopped Buu from ever being revived. Basically without Goku and Vegetas absurd feud and refusal to care about anyone but themselves, Buu never got any energy. Thus Trunks accomplished what Supreme Kai wanted in the first place.
@@papahudz69 I think Trunks would've been able to defeat Fat Buu. But if Evil Buu were to have emerged and turn into either Super Buu or Kid Buu right after, then Trunks probably would've been screwed.

The only way for Trunks to have won against Fat Buu is if he were to have trained like hell or gotten a Zenkai with the help of Shin, Kabito and Old Kai (should they have survived like he did in the main timeline).
But after that, should Fat Buu transformed into either Super Buu or Kid Buu, then Trunks would've been done for. Because not even SSJ3 Goku could keep up with Kid Buu. Only Myatic Gohan would've been able to defeat either Kid Buu or Super Buu.
Neglected to mention besides vegeta’s coaching, they have a fat buu for trunks to practice against to his heart’s content so he can win with a higher knowledge ratio rather than just brute force, kinda like future cell.
I know the plot hole between bulma creating the fuel and after trunks kills cell, there are two alternate timelines as well, after trunks went back and set the trap for so that was purple haired trunks, and another timeline lives blue haired trunks

Why doesn't Future Trunks ask either Future Bulma or present day Bulma to make him a gravity chamber like Vegeta has? If present Bulma makes it, he can convert it to a capsule and bring it with him to the future and train as hard as Vegeta does.
That version of buu probably wouldn’t go through fission (where he splits himself into two different versions of himself) so at least he wouldn’t be able to tap into his latent potential (super buu/kid buu)
to this day I wonder why Trunks didn't look for the other Namekians with Bulma and just use their dragon balls

Quite interesting DBZ what if of future trunks fighting future Majin Buu
Ginyu being used to using Tagoma's body more than Goku's body makes sense, because Tagoma is a fellow Frieza Force soldier who just knows how to use ki blasts and use it enough to charge their ki a little bit and fly, rather than fully understanding it. Goku, on the other hand is a martial artist who has trained to truly understand ki, and utilize it to it's full potential by sensing it and charging his ki.
Plus Goku was using the Kaio-Ken technique when he was fighting Ginyu (something he had no idea how to use) which is why according to Jeice he was weaker than Krillin and Gohan
Speaking of Tagoma another thing I've always wondered about Super is that since he can change bodies just by writing change now he didn't just write change now in front of someone stronger like Beerus or Whis?

To address those "plotholes". For the time machine one, well considering everyone just assumes Future Trunks is perfectly fine and never asked about him, he probably did tell them the Androids were taken care of. If he didn't then I'd say the bigger plothole is how nobody asked him about the Androids then why he didn't have much fuel.
The Gohan one is a bit odd. He actually does keep up his training. He decided he needed to after RoF, we saw him training before the U6 tournament, he had implied training at the end of the Goku Black Arc, and of course there's the Zeno Expo where he's got all his muscle back and took out Lavender (who was supposedly stronger than Basil, *possibly* Buu...actually now I'm curious about that lol). Oh, and speaking of all these crazy buffs for Gohan. Don't forget he went from being weaker than Dabura to defeating Super Buu in the span of a day with the Potential Unlock. Add training to be comparable to Buu without the form and more training under Piccolo, plus a change in mindset (stopped being so overconfident), and it's not the biggest stretch to say he reached near Blue levels (still a stretch, but by no means the craziest for Super or Z).
And don't think people will miss that "Trunks is much stronger than SS2 Gohan and Super Perfect Cell" assertion. That argument will never end and no offhand statement will stop it.
Actually I got a what if Trunks from the future timeline with able to convince Majin Buu to turn good like in the original timeline just like mr. Satan did you failed to mention that was also an option four trunks to go that route because Majin Buu is the Supreme Kai and they might need him
Trunks would need to break the Z sword to release the elder Kai. Then he could have his full potential unlocked and be able to destroy Buu!

I would think maybe he would eventually befriend fat buu, especially if he met fat buu in the main time line, and when going back to the future, he'd bribe fat buu with candy and have a new friend.

They didn't know where it was, and it would take way too long to find it by luck. My question is, why the hell couldn't King Kai contact them and say "Oh hey, here's where New Namek is, go wish back your friends."

But you're forgetting that future trunks when he comes to our timeline states that the Android's are way more powerful than in his timeline, wouldn't the same be true for buu? The argument there would be just how much more powerful the main timeline Android's and therefore buu are than his timeline
Androids in present timeline are much stronger because Dr. Gero noticed that Z fighters were training much, so, he took time make them stronger, and showed the weaker androids first.

No he wouldn’t. Zamasu stole Gokus body in the original DBS timeline (the timeline where trunks didn’t intervere by travelling to the past). Trunks fighting buu would have made 0 difference

i made a fanfiction about that, but before the buu saga from the future he travelled for namek with futurr android n°16 to do revive piccolo and kami-sama for then to do use the dragon balls from the earth to do revive the other dragon team warriors.

Literally just wrote a comment on Another video saying that this is very possible, and could be another way to bring back another older awesome villain . It’s like resident evil and dragon ball Z like came together and realize that if they just tinker with their stuff a little bit they can basically sell it again ( More updated I’m on modernized better looking, better storyline (( basically what happens when things are 20-30 years old and the creators have more time and ideas -that they want to make cannon in there own universes ) )There is a large group of dragon ball fans that don’t know the severity of Marjin buu and with a soft reboot similar to broly they could make it happened or janemba - or both ! - dreams - lol 😂

If Future Trunks had kept training and asked about the Namekian Dragonballs, he wouldn’t need to time travel every time something goes wrong. He could’ve gotten the Namekian Dragonballs and wished to restore the planet and revive everyone who was killed by the androids. Later, he can go to the hyperbolic time chamber and train there with one of the revived Z-fighters. The Majin saga would end a lot sooner than in canon and if he keeps training afterwords, Goku Black wouldn’t stand a chance if Beerus showed up to have Trunks learn God Ki (that is if Beerus is still alive).
I thought it would be good to train against boo in our time line learning his techniques and weaknesses
Yeah, Trunks doesn’t give a fuck. He’ll destroy the bad guy before they get an attack. While Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan to an extent are interested in the fight, for Goku fairness and Ego for Vegeta, Gohan showed cockiness when it came to Perfect Cell and Super Buu. Trunks gets the job done and doesn’t play around

Sooooo...whats up with trunks and the z sword? Like it broke in the goku black arc right? Why did old kai never show up? It makes more sense that supreme kai would try to train trunks like he did for gohan and then break the sword like they did and release old kai and get his potential unlocked.
Do you think goku would have trunk spar with good buu to get used to what buu can do.
So how could this all happen if in the main timeline , trunks is only 8-9 years old when buu is set free, but future trunks is at least 20+. I know they put it in Super, but still.

Trunk's power when entering the Buu Saga is just sad. Gohan was stated to be weaker than he was in the Cell saga and was struggling with Dabura with Dabura being Cell-level and Goku and Vegeta being easily able to take him out, but Trunks is doing worse against Dabura than Gohan was, albeit SS1 and not 2. I also disagree with the sentiment that he's as strong as SS2 Goku and Majin Vegeta because their attitudes made it seem like they were quite a bit above end of Cell saga Gohan, and SS2 Trunks would not have been that far above. Trunks encountered Babidi much later than when Babidi originally showed up. In the original timeline, it seems like he was there less than a year going by how much Spopovich had changed since the previous year, and Babidi's statement about Gohan filling up half the meter makes it seem like Gohan was the 1st thing they got energy from, and alternate Babidi said it took him 10 years to get the energy, so add 10 years onto the 7-year arc gap, and Trunks had he been constantly training should've gotten enough power to way surpass even Buuhaneven if it wasn't 17 years. Honestly Trunk's could've gotten above Super Perfect Cell if he'd just trained for 1 year, so seeing him still below that before he discovered Super Saiyan 2 is just disappointing. Yeah, going from where he was to being at least a bit comparable is a significant increase, but when you compare it to per amount of time, it's actually very lackluster.
After android saga trunks should of went to namek and bring back dendie and the revive everyone killed by the andriods and during the buu saga there should have been a gohunks fusion

Pretty unlikely unless its after Dragon Ball Super...
You know, all Trunks has to do is..... hide right? because Fat buu would of killed off Babidi just like the normal timeline (because he hated Babidi ordering him around) and then gotten bore and lived like he did when Mr Satan meet him, Fat Buu didn't go around killing people or did he care to sense power levels.... Well he might go around turning people into food, but....... you gotta remember Fat Buu wasn't all evil, he would of meet someone like the blind kid in Trunks time line that doesn't know better and became friends with them. The biggest issue is if after he becomes good and someone kills his friend by mistake and Evil Buu emerges, but with how little killing Fat buu did in the Buu arc, most people wouldn't even know he existed, and just like Beerus as soon as they all figure out, all he like to do is eat food, they can get him on their good side.
As much of a fun character Trunks can be we all saw how badly Goham got stomped by Majin Buu and even Majin Vegeta who are both well above Trunks in terns of strength faired so while I give him credit for taking out Dabura by himself, yeah Trunks would have died if Buu was revived.

The fight like you said he could chop buu in pieces hit em hard and get away cuz trunks is smarter than vegeta he would go all out but he got a bit of goku in him from training with gohan his smarts would tell him to get the fuck outta there he is the only one that can fight buu trunks is a resilient he he isn’t the main character in xenoverse 1 and 2 for nothing next to your main character
Why would the fuel thing be a pothole? Current Bulma lives in one of earths most prosperous and abundant times in history I assume same way there was no problem getting gasoline in 1965. super stocked. Her current capsule Corp. lab is probably the equivalent of Tony Starks lab versus her future self probably has a basic laboratory in a garage. Bulma got a compound , with a lake , with a yacht in the lake but the entire compound is really in a massive swimming pool she built in her backyard. Containing 25 percent of all the planet’s freshwater.
And when future trunks found out about the super dragonballs why didnt he pursue them to wish the z fighters back in the future?

ALL-STAR GAMING & ENTERTAINMENT whis would have never helped him. Whis (and Beerus) were totally against the idea of altering history and thus creating new timelines. Trunks knowledge of the super dragon balls came from his time travel and thus him looking for the super dragon balls would alter the normal course of time and Whis+Beerus kept saying that noone should be allowed to meddle with time (hence why Beerus destroyed present-Bulmas time machine), they would never help someone to meddle with time
