For about 30 years now, I have carried with me the "Collected Poems, 1909-1962, T.S. Eliot".
Although I am a Canadian, I have visited the places in London and other locations that are related to Eliot. Studying Eliot is a challenge, however, listening to you for the course
of the communication you have just contributed clarifies many things. I will study those
communications. My father used to quote Shakespeare to me while at lunch in our house
in British Columbia. He would stride back an forth in our living room. He has long passed
now, but had a wonderful ability to quote Shakespeare. He also had respect for T.S. Eliot.
    Warm regards, Anthony Duart Maclean

I recently got a copy of the same book, "Collected Poems, 1909-1962, T.S. Eliot"; I hope I'll carry it with me for just as long and longer

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Brilliant - and presented with such beautiful sensitivity and breath-taking command of context both historical and cultural. God bless you Mr Strandberg. AVE MARIA

This is a very helpful and enjoyable study. I have found much to appreciate, and relate to, in Eliot in personal study, but there is so much to explore, and I appreciate the insights you bring. Thank you.

Hello, can you do a video on Four Quartets. My favourite by a long way.

Hi Professor--if I were lecturing on this poem, I would add, at the end of Part 1, that the lines "Pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death," are the concluding line of the Hail Mary.

First dislike. If Prof. Strandberg ever wants to know why I'd love to talk with him.

      You are very pompous.

Is it because he skips over parts? That is somewhat frustrating, but overall it is still a great lecture; besides if he included everything this would be far too long to watch and absorb all in one sitting.
