When listening to guys like this I Feel like less of a man, but at the same time, I'm more devoted becoming a better and stronger man. Thank you both for having that affect on me. Incredible podcast.
I have been listening to Tim Kennedy for a few years now. I'm a man, a leader of my family, successful at my job, supporting of my wife and raising my kids as best I can, but listening Tim Kennedy makes me work harder. At everything. I love his outlook, and his awareness to know his outlook is different from most, but still appropriate for most. For somebody that has spent their life being a warrior, there's significant wisdom in him and I'm thankful he openly shares.
I'm 50 and in the same boat. 22 years on the job. I found TIM like 3 weeks ago on you tube and I am sponging since. Never too old to learn other perspectives.
Talking about this school brought tears to my eyes thinking about how desperately I craved that kind of environment as a kid but hopefully I can provide that for my 2 boys! Thanks Tim for being bold and thinking fundamentally about this ice burg were heading towards
@@sa-amirel-hayeed699 also the iceberg he’s talking about is how society fights to remain stagnant in many ways that don’t change with the times. Often times leading to regression in sectors where it could easily avoided. I hope that made sense. School just happens to be one of those stagnant sectors in society.
Tim, I think going forward you should aim to set one of your schools up in every state! Great idiologies. The youth have become detached from reality these days. Thank you Sir! You motivate me every day!
What an American hero!! Tim Kennedy is one of the greatest men to be born in the last century. If only everyone could learn 1 thing from him in this country we would become the greatest country in the world again!
Elders (in experience and wisdom) taking ownership over the trajectory of the Next Generation is how great societies are formed! I admire you guys and it's a beautiful thing you're doing and I've accepted the same challenge with my children.
This is awesome! Especially the thought of getting away from "traditional" schooling. It's hilarious that some will defend public schools to the end, but these schools were designed to make good factory workers, not smart, active and entrepreneurial young citizens.
Epic conversation gentlemen. Thank you for both being exactly who you are and striving for greatness every day. This Aussie bloke has the upmost respect for both of you.
Tim is right on at 19:20. Education is failing us. My wife is a teacher and she wants out. She equates being a teacher as being a customer service representative for children and their parents. The customer can do no wrong. Children without IEPs will get extensions, will not fail due to lack of effort, will get answers given to them without trying. I mean I could go on. Gen z and the next few generations are in trouble, then something great will happen. Hardship. Then we will get guys like Tim Kennedy again.
In regards to the military, as my grand mother said back in the 1980's & 90's. Every 18 year old needs to sleep for two weeks in the dirt, rain, and mud along with thrown out of an air plane screaming. That way they might have and ideal and bit of appreciation for what their fore fathers and veterans went through.
I was physically disabled by the time I was eligible for a military career...I seriously injured my back playing high school sports....I hope to be able to contribute to the welfare of the American populace. I appreciate you both..I will keep you both in my prayers every day....I have worked as a homeland missionary since 2018...I was homeless for six months in 2013-14...I have met the Lord face to face....these pricks keep me so drugged up that I am asleep for half of the time I'm alive lately...it's ridiculous...they have tried to kill me a dozen times already....Jesus Christ is my Addonai...he is my Master and my King...
This right here is awesome. When Tim talks about the butterfly effect by the things that he do. That is why I am getting my degree in sustainability. The huge systems comprehension is really where I strive in my thinking. Thank you to both of you for your time.
Dang, experiential learning. That is something I studied in my undergrad. This is by far the best education possible. Playing in which turns into the desire to learn for the rest of their life.

SEALS are the best. But in all reality all the special forces just do different jobs and are all badass. Go check out Jocko and Tim convo about SEAL vs Green Beret
In all honesty there is no best special forces; they’re all the best at their assigned task and purpose. Although to the original commenter; GO MAKE THE GREEN GRASS GROW.
Great interview. I agree totally with what Tim has to say about masculinity. Male and female we were both made for different tasks yet to compliment one another.
Great conversation, really appreciate these two sitting down. I’m blown away if public schools in TX really don’t have to build to the same design requirements Tim described. All of those are standard in CA even when building a fortune 5 retail store. I hope you get through the red tape Tim, your school is needed more then ever these days.
The Trivium and Quadrivium should be the starting points of our children's education. Teach them how to think instead of what think. Great podcast, thank you guys.
I love it..teaching kids to learn and think for themselves. To figure it out. I'm so excited about this. It's going to be a game changer...you are a genius...ahhh I love it.
What a DEEP conversation! I absolutely love the picture that they are painting in this conversation!!!! We need some of these CORE VALUES that they have mentioned ASAP!!! Just listenin, Im going to apply this to my life, husbandship and parenting. Thanks fellas!💪🏾❤🌎✌🏾
I want to see Tim stand on people not wanting to join because of our government. I know multiple people that can definitely be “ qualified “ to join and they are die hard Americans. But the way that the U.S. stands, a lot of people don’t want to “fight” because they don’t believe they are fighting for “freedom” anymore. Not trying to offend anyone, I just want to hear Tim thought because if Tim still believes it is for freedom, I think it would changes many minds.
I can only hope my kids get this level of training. I try everyday to show them something necessary but i know im continuously missing so much i was taught.
GREAT job, Ryan! Getting my learn on. Much Respect. Live conversations are always better, the human interaction is awesome! Since visiting you in Maine, I miss that place! It's beautiful! Talk soon.
Tim, the observation of the “butterfly effect” hit hard. I was involved all met a year ago in a OIS. Partner and I ambushed inside house after disturbance call. Went from winning an intense gunfight to consoling the kids on a second floor minutes later. Been wondering for past year if my actions, however necessary, may result in those kids hating cops or worse yet putting a cop 20yrs down the road in wrong end of gun.
Montessori school set me up to know how to garden, and cook food from that garden around age 4/5. Best school I ever went to. Always “in trouble” once I went to public school.
My son will learn to cook and sow. My daughter will learn to change her car oil and tyres. Not to make them into anything that is not them. To make them well rounded and to navigate life and being an adult. We am not here to be their friend. We are here to make the happy, healthy and well round adults.
I have a desire to teach you guys how to fight with the sword of the Spirit. This is our most powerful weapon on this earthly realm. I have fought in the war between good and evil for 8 years and I have never had to use earthly weapons.
What a shame about the eligibility of candidates for the military these days. I enlisted in 2013, was a tooth pick, not afraid of the physical challenge though and had a hunger for the challenge. The chance to prove myself, become a warrior, hone skills, serve my country, and become a man is what called me into the military. The reasons I listed for my enlistment I feel are discouraged at continually younger ages and it makes me sick.
As an adult human female, I never played with dolls or wanted to dress up or build bunk beds. I always wanted to be outside. I had a really hard time sitting behind a desk in a classroom. My grades were shit. I just wanted to go and do and run and jump and play and climb and ride dirt bikes. It’s not always natural to a girl to have the doll and pretty clothes mindset.
