- Tim Kennedy is an Army Special Forces Soldier, entrepreneur, MMA fighter, and author of the new book Scars and Stripes: An Unapologetically American Story of Fighting the Taliban, UFC Warriors, and Myself.
During his time as a UFC, Strikeforce, and WEC MMA fighter, he earned a pro record of 18-6.
Tim was a cast member on HISTORY Channel’s Hunting Hitler as well as Discovery Channel’s Hard to Kill.
He founded the training company Sheepdog Response and the clothing line Ranger Up. He is also the founder of the online mentorship program Apogee Strong and the K-12 Apogee Cedar Park school.

Thanks for prompting Tim to talk about his school. High school should end at 16, and consist of business, trade, and how life works classes.
In order to graduate you should have to successfully get a job and save $5,000. Communications classes and public speaking should get way more emphasis. Learning that you can’t regress into resting bitch face when things that aren’t ideal happen or when Milk is spilt or shit needs shoveled.

I really like this interview with Tim. It’s the first time I have seen him where he wasn’t all about, I’m so Great, I’m a beast, I’m awesome. He actually comes across as being more real and down to earth while still relating his accomplishments. Good to go.👍🏻 I actually like him more now. Note: I’m not saying he doesn’t have bragging rights for what he’s done. It’s just how he sometimes comes across that I don’t like.

A buddy of mine reported in to Marine OCS day late due to his finishing SERE the day prior. He still had some shit going on upstairs after SERE. He had a tough time adjusting for a few days. His attitude was that he just didn't give a shit about anything....
I found Tim from the UFC and then he popped up with BRCC and just about every military related social media, podcast's. Smart strategy and true badass American hero! Thank you gentlemen 🇺🇸
He had some insane fights in the UFC. He just never gave up! Huge fan but he’s a bit of a nut case 😂. I say that in the coolest/nicest way possible. You gotta be a little nutty to do what he did.

Sorry I didn't see this sooner. I'm a fan and your books are excellent Mr. Carr. However, I appreciate Tim Kennedy's military service, awesome, but I don't appreciate his view on civilian ownership of guns, he couldn't be more out of touch with the meaning of the 2A. His opinions his views, but with attitudes like Kennedy's, freedom would sunset riki tic on our great country. God Bless the US of A.

He doesn’t want you owning body armor unless your military, otherwise you’re just larping. He also doesn’t 18 year olds to be able to defend themselves.

We live in a time in our country where 1A and 2A are more important than ever. No one here is knocking Tim for being successful. I was a big fan when he was in the UFC and would totally count on him in war. But he has a skewed view of 2A and freedom that he needs to address.
