- What does it mean to earn your stripes? It means that you have to go through the fire of challenge and adversity to thrive and win. That’s exactly what my guest, Tim Kennedy, has done all of his life. From serving as an Army Ranger to fighting in the UFC, and running multiple incredibly successful businesses, it’s fair to say that Tim Kennedy has officially earn his stripes but all the scars that come with it.
Today, Tim and I talk about a broad array of topics in a short amount of time. We talk about time management, identifying and living out your priorities, dealing with foul-ups, comparing yourself to other people, and his latest book, Scars and Stripes.

Remember 5 years ago a lot of politicians were screaming we need to break up Big Tech, now there is only a few saying that??? It's called "you scratch my back I scratch yours," aka "I/we will do this for now, but look the other way when we do shady things or else."

In regards to the military being watered down for applicants; I think there is a swing from men joining woke military branches and instead are focusing on staying home to protect their loved ones and home land.

Try working 14hrs a day minumum on a drilling rig 7 days a week with a 4hr round trip just to get to and from work and tell me how much time you have sir...smh. Well gotta get back to work.

I don’t think there’s anything negative going on with him. He started sheepdog response, he’s transitioning from a guy who use to just do everything, to a guy who’s trying to figure out how to pass what he knows that makes him successful on to other folks. That’s what I’m seeing anyway. The number of great mentors that count him as a friend is something that usually points to the fact that he’s not a big headed blowhard.
