Tai, counters are gonna be your bread and butter against frost, don’t even try to block that man, weave and then quickly hit back till your stam bar starts to flash.
One tip I'll give is to use your opponents momentum against him to gain more power in your punches. For example; if his head leans down he has downward momentum, so hitting him with an uppercut will use that against him and cause more damage, he weaves to the left hit him with a right hook, he weaves right hit with the left etc.
Flick LT/L3 up or down to side-step and back or forward to dash back or forth. Dashing back or side-stepping then Y/triangle is the best counter you could do in this game (Hooks and uppercuts too but that’s less range). Don’t hold the block button to long, it can weaken. Also, by pressing LB/L1, you can get out of the clinch or push your push your opponent. And I believe you can switch stances wit left d-pad.

Don’t chase, when he goes to the corners move towards the direction he tries to exit from to cut him off, when he tries to move the opposite way, cut him off and trap him, use L2 to push him into the corner. Don’t neglect the body! It’s the cheat code to success. Also, this game is about counter punching not skilled boxing, stop wasting punches, make him miss his. When they clinch press L2 to push them off you, don’t allow them to clinch for safety. Jab, jab and more jabs! Doesn’t use much stamina and it keeps their guard busy. Head movement can be done while guarded too, hold L1 and R1 and then use the left stick to move your head, use your guard, it’s what its for, don’t try and just use head movement because it wastes stamina, slip the big punches and let the jabs land on the guard. Also, don’t over exaggerate your head movement, just move it slightly to allow shots to barely miss, wastes less stamina. Been playing this game for years so I know what I’m saying, I suggest playing some fights VS the AI to sharpen your tools!
