When i was deployed in Japan, i used an internet cafe to sleep overnight somewhere that wasn't my ship. This was before i was allowed to use the barracks. I was taller than everyone in the country at 6'3, so i could see over the cubicles, and happen to see the j- pron on someones screen. Theres hentai magazines everywhere like its a library of manga. And best of all is they have great cheap food and unlimited refills on your slushies!! I miss that place. Way better than a naval ship.

America is supposedly the richest country on earth yet most people are barely surviving 😂 sad

Richest third world country (corporation)
Also it's potentially the .ost judgemental place
Billions to ucrrane and the meat grinder and cash back!
because america *itself* actually is a very rich country. the difference is that the *average joe* living there is poor and neglected by politics whose priority isn't the overall wellbeing of the population.
..unless we include national debt. you get the point
Vanlife is a potential option, you can leave it and travel on public transport, bike or foot to your work, supermart, saving cost on fuel and maintenance. Basically it's a mobile and stationary home at the same time.
You’re doing the lords work man, our generation need to live minimally as a protest against the value extraction going on that ordinary people are subjected to.
Exactly. No college, no mortgage, no kids. No debt, no expenses. No problem!
Once we stop spending money our greedy rulers will have to cave in to our demands/rights
If you're living out of your car either know how to maintain it yourself or be prepared to get stuck wherever you breakdown if you can't afford to fix it.
Dispersed camping on public land merits a mention if you're going the camping route. It's obviously cheaper to not pay campsite fees but you lose proximity to facilities.
I was thinking about moving to China. Got any tips. I like Japan cafe one but I would try to get a decent job to pay for better quality of foods.
Forget about buying a property, these days the cost to rent one is too expensive, especially in London with the average rent price being £2,121 per month. So why even bother working to have it at this point?
That’s right. Part of working means you give up your time, energy, self respect, and sanity in exchange for being able to afford to live independently. Now that living independently is too expensive and wages are 🐶 💩 there is no point.
@@princessmarlena1359 summed up the reason for everything going wrong with gen z/young millennials in two sentences lol living alone and being able to save for emergencies and/or a down payment is a pipedream unless you're a very career-driven and financially ambitious person. I have no desire for anything extravagant. I just want my own space, enough money for food, gym membership, my 2010 accord, and to be able to buy a new guitar and upgrade my pc every couple of years. I don't want sports cars, a mansion, designer clothes, decor, or any flavor of the month tech trends. I am NOT asking for much. I should be able to comfortably live this life with some smart budgeting working any entry level job. Even work that requires schooling and certifications, you don't make SHIT. EMTs in my area are making $16-18/hr, even welding jobs are paying that. Unless you end up in sales or some other white collar corpo job, or own your own trade business you're not gonna have a good time.
Best job I've had was 23.60 working in a state prison. Job itself wasn't so bad, but the problems with it are self-perpetuated. Only requirement to get hired is to not be a felon. That starting pay is really enticing, and you end up with a lot of people who just don't have the mental capacity to deal with the stuff that happens behind those walls. There are 3 types of COs, the pussies who get manipulated and walked all over that nobody respects or listens to which causes lots of issues for the rest of the staff on the compound. Then the big ego COs who think they're RoboCop who instigate fights, treat inmates like subhuman peasants for no reason (if you don't treat them with any respect you will never get any respect or compliance from them, an "I scratch your back you scratch my back" type of deal), deliberately cause problems with other COs they don't like (bullying, disrespect, refusing to work with their partner), etc.
And then there's the ones who are chill and can control their emotions, de-escalate situations, and talk things out before fists start flying which results in OC spray which means absolute fucking hell for everyone else in the housing unit for the next few hours. I would still be working that job, or go back to it in a heartbeat if they raised hiring standards a little bit. Some of the trashiest, most ghetto, and regarded humans I've ever worked with. These people could barely spell their own names, they'd show up hours late forcing you to stay until they clocked in. It's just a lot of bullshit that could be easily avoided if they beefed up the wage to $26-28/hr and actually screened applicants for physical capabilities and mental fortitude. No one wants to pay even a few dollars more for not just one employee, but an entire team of workers who will work together 10x more effectively. Most people quit jobs because of shitty working conditions, shitty pay, and shitty coworkers. When I was making $10/hr at chipotle I walked in every day with a huge chip on my shoulder, zero incentive to actually care about doing a good job, now imagine EVERYONE walks in with that attitude. The service and products produced are going to be dog shit. Literally everybody benefits from greater wages except the 0.1% and investors. Investors don't care about quality, service, consistency, or reputation, only that this year's profits exceed last year's. It's sad.
For living in japanese internet caffe you obliviously need to be resident of Japan, which is certainly not possible for most of zoomers, unless they're in software dev and willing to sacrifice a lot of their salary due to weak yen, or have N1/N2 japanese and can get job offer from japanese company who are willing to relocate you. And if you're jobless and on work visa and not searching for a job - byebye your visa. You can't "buy a ticket to japan and live there", you're limited to 90 days on tourist visa, anything over - you overstayed and probably will be deported and have travel ban(btw same if you will attempt to do visa runs - it's not a thailand, lol, and you will get travel ban 100%). All of that comes from person living here for quite some time. This works if you're PR(either earn lots of money and get it through HSP point score, or just live here 10 years) or naturalized citizen(live here 5 years, language on at least N3 level and revoke your old citizenship), but not for average zoomer, lol
You can actually get an English teaching job with any random BS degree. There's a vid of some guy moving there for only $1650.
@@thephilosophicalgamerfr Yeah, it's just you will live where you will be dispatched by company, so you can't just "choose" where you'll be living. Besides, english teaching salaries are poverty level here, lol. Also, these english teachers are also treated bad and are basically disposable for these companies. Besides, you can only do that for 5 years - after that - byebye(so if you haven't managed to get another job - byebye)
@@anonanon7822 5 years is a long time to figure out something else. And the pay isn't great sure but it's way better than anything you'll get in the west for sure. I'm not saying it's perfect. But are you gonna get something better in the west?
@ You can easily study nihongo in free time and get a normal job and stay here forever, that's not a big deal. It's just that it's painted as "ah, you can just move here guys", which is not true and requires quite a lot of effort(cause you know, most of the jobs outside of IT require good/fluent japanese, and japanese isn't exactly easiest language to learn). If you're not in IT and not willing to grind japanese - that's not the route for you
@@anonanon7822 I mean obviously you'll have to do something but imo learning Japanese when you're young is not nearly as hard as dealing with the unbearable job/rental market in the west. Worst case scenario you can even visa hop between Japan and Thailand/Vietnam every 90 days and use the internet cafes there. Not saying it's easy but way better than dealing with the BS of the west for sure.
micro camper van is super interesting but how do you shower in winter? like the bed and a place to cook are the easiest, what about the bathroom?
Gym membership
Planet Fitness Black Card gets you unlimited access to all Planet Fitness locations for $20, you can shower there. There’s also truck stop chains like Loves and Pilot/Flying J that have showers, odds are you can get a free one if you ask a trucker since they get free shower tokens when they fuel up.
@ what if you don't want to enter a city and just chill in a wild area? is there any self contained solution? like some sort of a shower tent u can put besides the car when needed?
Sounds like alot of money, and hassel..
I lived for years doing subsistence and permaculture on maybe $1.00 a day.. Got it down to things like salt and cooking oil boughten.
Used horses for transportation... saddle and hoof nippers biggest cost there.
Theres a million square miles in the US thats empty, but used to be inhabited by people on horses.
An Indian in the 1800's pointed out:
"White man sells his soul for a place to sleep and schitt ."
And when rounded up and put on reservations and given brick homes, many camped in the back yard all year... if you ever wake up at sunrise in a Tipi you will understand why...
This morning I cleaned up some spare subsistence tool heads, and got them into an ammo can... several forged hoes, a small axe, and a couple steel splitting wedges.
Wonder what those would be worth after the crash?
Any one of them worth ten gaming stations...
Also working towards camp cookware sets in large stockpots for containers. Stockpots make nice water containers when you use springs... usually a short hunk of pipe gets water into the pot.
For baths, a teapot full of hot water makes a 2.5 gallon milking bucket into a nice shower. Thats about minimum, but 5 gallons gets boring... I have a dipper thats a sieve.
its kinda fun taking baths outside, have done it for years...
Think of the money saved not paying for a hot water heater kept hot all the time.
On cooking outside in warm places, the best is wood chips, very efficient and controllable.
You just strike off chips with your axe...
On starting fires with a lens, you need about 3" diameter for consistent fire starting, hazy days, damp conditions, and little lenses arent enough.
Theres ten thousand things like that... stuff you learn living more in tune with nature.
Freedom begins, where Mr. Fat Ranger cant drive his pickup... 😂
If you guys were able to watch this entire video, I hope it offers you all one important realization... don't ever, everrr become homeless. Life is not a movie out there, it might seem all cozy now watching homeless videos in the comfort of your own home, but the reality is extremely harsh. What should you do instead? This is 2025, times has changed, you're not suppose to move out anymore. If you're lucky, and you have cool parents, stay home with them. Treat them well, and take care of them. Do a crap ton of extra chores, yard work, cooking, cleaning, whatever you can and do it all unconditionally. Never ask for anything in return. If your parents love you and see how much you love them, they'll be happy to live with you and never even find any harm in it. Back in the days before the economic boom, this is how everyone lived. Everyone lived in one home, and rarely ever bought another home. They passed down their one single property to the next generation and so on. This is how things are now again in 2025 because the economic boom has ended. Just like everyone else in the rest of the world, you're lucky if you own even one house within your entire immediate family, which is your parents and your siblings.
Now, if you can't care for and inherit your current family home, then the only other option is to... join the military. Why the military? Because there's a thing called VA Loan, which is basically the military letting you have one house for free. Yep, that's right, they give you one house for free by paying your down payment for the property. Also, no one is able to deny you a VA Loan even if you have no credit or bad credit. So yea, it's a guaranteed free house.
These are the only two options in life if you can't survive on unlivable wages. Don't choose to be homeless, it doesn't end well ever.
I tell people all the time they need to get into the military and do their time. It sure toughens you up. Rah!
There’s also USDA rural development loans, they’re still dependent on a credit check and you have to live in a rural area, but you don’t have to pay a down payment on them.
@@kevinrowland5753 Unless people don't believe in the current military complex and dying for israel lol
@@biuliu7157being cannon fodder isn't ideal 😂
If you are japanese then yes its an A tear if you live in japanese B or C tear if you are from a different country
Travelling the world like the courier man from fallout seems like a sweet deal to me
I wish running away to join the circus was still an option. 🎪
This channel was so cool in its early days, now it is literally advocating homelessness. What the hell happened? Anti-work ideology is crazy.
Aye I appreciate your content. This economic system is utterly devastated.
You forgot the tent lol!
You left out squatting
Which japanese cyber-cafe gives you free rice and curry? Tell me the name, please.
you forgot ebike campers.
I Don't think any of these are a viable solution especially the hostile option, unless its in a decent area with nice people that won't take your things it can be a very temporary solution. When I was a delivery guy I use to make deliveries to a hostile I only seen people who looked like they were all on vacation and had very nice cars it didn't look like any of them were poor.
Unless you can ride a bike to a job every day and its not that far RV option isn't realistic either especially if its your only transportation but otherwise if you can make livable money don't care about riding a bike it can be a alternative solution BUT research the Trailer and or RV park your gonna be staying several of those places are dangerous to live in, I know, I've lived in one before was happy when I was able to move.
Same applies to living in a van I actually like that idea but you need to be able to save at least 10 grand or more and for most people younger than 30 that can be hard depending if you live in a employment friendly zone. Even if your 30 and above if you can earn up to 10 grand stack another 10 and go to trade school. If your gonna live in a van your gonna need it to be as comfortable as Trent's' van.
NGL the S tier feels so me.
Holy crap, im starting to like ur real voice.
Isn’t it very difficult to get into Japan without a work visa?
ur voice is hot ngl
