Welcome back to my channel guys! For this video I wanted to show how easy it is to make a t-shirt pattern from a t-shirt you already own. I wanted the sleeve a bit more longer so I altered the sleeve pattern by adding two inches at the hem. As for the textile, I came across this textured knit at one of my local fabric stores and instantly knew I wanted to a t-shirt out of it.
Hope you guys enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching!

Great tutorial. Would have liked a better view if how to do the collar section though.
Ooooh my gosh! Thank you for this video!
You actually show what you're doing, have a good camera angle and there's not a 5 minute intro of talking.
Thanks for this tutorial. I really appreciate it. Shirt looks great. I will give it a try, but i like the shirt bottom rounded with a long fit. KEEP IT UP✌🏻
Thanks man! Let me know how it goes when you try it out.

Hey man! Cool video, and very informative. How many yards/meters of fabric did you have to purchase to make this shirt? Also would it be possible to add dimensions in the description?
Hey, Thanks man! I purchased 2 yards of this fabric. I will add measurements to the description.

When youre doing the actual sewing, what do you make your seam allowance?
The seam allowance is about 1/2" when I sew a knit garment. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Looks sick mate!
Thanks man!

Appreciate it!
How much seam allowance are you adding on the hem, sideseam, sleeve, shoulder, and neck opening?
I add about a 1/2" seam allowance all around.
on the sleeve you're adding 2" and then you add for more seam allowance?
Correct! I wanted a longer sleeve length so I added the extra 2". Always add seam allowance to a new pattern.
5:56 the name of that machine?
