My man, you go through all that trouble to make a t-shirt fit? Wow! I grew up in the 90s I don't relate. I prefer my clothes loose & comfortable. I'd rather see you spend your time on learning how the world works. Like The Great Reset for example. That's a project being proposed by an individual by the name of Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum. It's basically a plan to bring in a world government dictatorship. You might say, that's conspiracy theory. Well Klaus & his Great Reset was just featured in a recent issue of Time magazine. As a matter of fact, The Great Reset made the cover. Look it up. I'm not saying you shouldn't be concerned about your appearance, but that's a little much dude.

I've been doing high end prototype sewing for 25 years but never thought about tailoring a T-shirt. But why not do it? A cheap clothing item that fits well will look way better than a very expensive one that fits poorly.

The easiest way is to buy your shirts to fit in the shoulder and neck and be at least big enough everywhere else, then you just adjust all the other areas. If shirts that fit in the shoulder are always too small elsewhere then it's more difficult, either look for specialty sizes, buy/make custom shirts, or for something like tee shirts try ladies plus size, since sometimes they are narrow in the shoulder but generous through the waist.

I finally found mine from hurley and bought ever color I could find at tjmax. I'm tall and thin and hate when the sleeves are huge. Also found that blended shirts do so much better than 100 cottons of the old days. Even tho cotton has gotten better.

I use to tailer my little sister's cloths and make her pants and shirts. when we were going to school. Before that our mother would do it for us. But, her and my father would be working. My dad always said that clothes look good when they fit rite. I still tailer my clothes. When I buy them.Especially when I hem pants I think it looks good. With Boots, Definitely makes you look sharp. I aways use Singer it's nice to me. 👍🏼💯

  • @eschelar

Truly a useful skill to have. Boulder shoulders, big chest and thicc lats mean lots of t shirts fit poorly. A few nips and tucks on a t shirt make a massive difference in the way you look to others.
I buy cheap t shirts in quantity and adjust. They last about a year and a half if I rotate well and wash about every 2 weeks (worn once, usually half a day).
Would cost the same to buy 3 or 4 name brand t shirts, which would last maybe less time as they would be worn more time and require a more frequent laundry cycle.

It cost me more than any other t-shirt, but I never regret it. It was a LEVIS-shirt.

ive tailored a bunch of shirts without a sewing machine, would of saved me soo much time XD, i recall just figuring out these spots on my own...being thin growing up, a lot of shirts were just too loose making me look even smaller...very athletic now so i dont have to worry about tailoring much but there are a bunch of shirts i think i would like to work on for the sleeves still
