Thanks so much for watching!! I hope you're not sick of my chatty videos - but it's really allowed me some time to give my wrists a rest. I'm hoping to be able to share more project progress very soon! x Bethany
Ah, summer!! This summer I'm ignoring seasonal knitting and I'm making a blanket XD also learning how to quilt thanks to my grandma. But I'm excited to see someone else do summer knitting! I've not been able to see many people knit fun projects during the summer months, but I've also just recently learned to knit. Excited for u, and happy summer!!! P.s. you'll look awesome in that beautiful lilac color :)
I've never heard of my favorite things knitwear before. Thank you so much for recommending them. Gorgeous designs! I'm going to knit camisole number 3. this summer!
I started making the Deima shorts in May and love how they're turning out so far! I used a different method to sew in the elastic band and found it to be much neater than their suggested approach. I can't find anyone naming this technique, but I found it on the youtube channel "Handmade by Aura" in their video titled "Knitted Tutorial / High Waisted Shorts" in minutes 5:00-7:00. My only complaint about the pattern is their method of binding off. I found it made the shorts uneven and not flattering. I'd love to see how you tackle that!
I’m so curious to see how these shorts are made and look after!!! It seems like they could be a great idea but I’m kind of skeptical. But loving the idea!!! How did your pair come out?
I am halfway through my first cardigan. I mainly knitted scarfs for people and socks for myself so this is my first big project that’s for me and I am so excited to see it all together
so interesting to see people knit things to wear in summer, I run way too warm for that. I LOVE the outfit you're wearing here! such a good color combo on you
I recently finished knitting cropped tank tops for all my bridesmaids for my wedding next summer! Now I'm working on a flowy beach shawl. Those shorts look so fun, I'm excited to see how they turn out for you! I'm pretty new to knitting so I love finding new ideas, especially for summer!
I've been wanting to get into knitting but never fully gone through with it (mostly given up quickly). I know the most basic stuff and now that I've been watching a lot of RUclipsrs who do knitting I decided to go ahead and just commit to it. So my summer project is a basic winter hat 😊
I’m currently sewing up a cardigan that I free-knitted without a pattern, and I realized that I had a lot of yarn left over. I think I might try out that camisole from My Favorite Things Knitwear that you’ve been raving about recently. 🤔 Thanks for the suggestion!! ❤️❤️
Love all of your videos! It's really fun to see other young people knitting. It really helps quite my mind (almost like meditating, with a gift at the end). I was wondering if you have ever thought to knit a pencil skirt before, I'm finding it really hard to locate any modern patterns?
God bless you this is Mona in Wisconsin I'm 65 I'm just starting on the knitting journey few years in and I'm doing my first sweater it's really not anything special that any of the artists like you or others to would brag on but it is the first thing then I'm trying to make in I'm happy to do it it's made with the chunk your yarn so and it's a design by Brianna from yay for yarn and I'm just open it turns out that's what I'm doing right now that and I'm working on a blanket that is a beginner blanket I've been working on it for a long time it just takes a long long time cuz it's like 50 by 60 inches I believe and it's just a garter blanket and it's got big full blocks four blocks and it goes on for a long time I got to work on that go back to that and I got some new yarn that I've got where it's a wool mix I'm trying to get more into natural fibers but I limited funds you do what you can and so I don't know what else I'm going to do with that I wish a blessing on all your projects and I pray that you know the Lord Jesus and I do everything for him first and I enjoy listening to your podcast I wish you blessings on your projects and on your life in Jesus name so long amen
i have some drops kid silk in sage green in my stash, and yours looks grey (like i was supised when you said sage green :O) on my computerscreen. but its truly a wonderful colour! i look forward to seeing how it'll turn out! currently i have the stockholm slipover almost off my needles, and then it'll be petiteknit's marseille sweater in a cotton/merino blend, and then for july i'll be knitting the ankers summrshirt in 100% silk because my local yarn shop had a crazy good deal on BC Garn soft silk! i also have a ton of projects all ready to go for wintertime like a cardigan, a striped sunday sweater, ankers shirt my-size, a cardigan no. 2, a friday slipover, a sweater no 1 and a friday tee! i like to buy my yarn in bulk when it on sale - hence all the yarn lol
Thank you for asking! My wrists are getting better, but not at 100%. I took a break from knitting which of course helped and then I’m also wearing a hard wrist brace to bed and taking collagen supplements. The works!
I want to try making a tank top for the summer too! But def a new project for me and not really sure where to go for patterns. Ravelry is kind of overwhelming…. Any suggestions? I’ve got some extra cotton that’ll be perfect for summer and can take machine wash and dry.
Hey! I notice you use a lot of Wool and the Gang wool, it's quite expensive but I've been considering buying some for a project. Is there a specific type of theirs you really like?
Hey! I guess it really depends what you’re going to make! I love their crazy sexy wool and feeling good yarn (but drops air is basically the same imo). WATG definitely wins out when it comes to color choices.
@@WellLovedKnits THANK YOU SO MUCH this is really helpful! I've really loved their colour options and just wasn't 100% sure if they lived up to their prices! I'll check both out. :)
I really wish there'd be more patterns that would be flattering on guys. Personally, I don't care if something was designed with women in mind, I believe clothes are just clothes and anyone can wear them. But WOW I felt what you said about not knitting for others because you don't think it's good enough. Close friends have hinted at wanting me to make them something but I am too self conscious :/
@@WellLovedKnits I will definitely have to design my own patterns at some point but I've only been knitting/crocheting since about July of last year so idk if I have enough experience to be designing things. If you know of any resources that could help me in learning to design I'd appreciate it! Love your videos by the way :)

I’ll try to share as much as I can 💕 A blanket is necessary all times of year imo. Would love to learn how to quilt one day as well!!

How did it turn out? :)
@@MidtWinterRose it came out good, sadly it was big on me but I am a petite person so it made sense

That lilac is beautiful!
Really appreciate your channel and all of your knitting tips. You do beautiful work.

Lov lov bold colors! Do it!!

So happy to find a video thats not all wool! :D
Alpachino Merino is quite possibly my favorite yarn to work with. Feeling so inspired after watching this video!

I enjoyed this video! I am also scared of small needles but I want to try mohair or short cardigans / bolero cardigans :)
Um YES. Yes, that IS your color 😍
And yes, small needles just feel better, to me at least, I love the bulky knits but my tiny hands do not!
Haha! For me it is the opposite. Knitting that last sock killed my fingers 😵

That’s exactly what I do too!! If there’s a sale on, I start my project planning 😁
Looking forward to the mock neck sweater made with lighter yarn, especially if you make another video for it. That blue wool looks dreamy.
I have been eyeing Lion Brand’s bamboo yarn, so I’m real excited to see your opinion on bamboo as a fiber!
Oh my, this sage green is a thing! It looks perfect and I'm going to make with it something as well!!!
Isn’t it so lovely!!
actually ginger hair and a pastel purple would compliment eachother so well! Ever seen Daphne from Scooby Doo?
Truuuuue!!!
So excited for you for all these projects 😍how are your hands feeling though? Did you find that resting helped?

I really loved making camisole no 2! Or there’s a simple camisole tank from Witre Design you may like to try :)
@@WellLovedKnits I’ll def have to check them out! Thanks for the recs!
Oooohhhh I have the mohair and the chunky novice cardigan
When do you tend to start a project for a particular season? E.g. when do you typically start a summer project vs a fall project?
I usually knit with the weather! Doesn’t always leave enough time to enjoy the pieces in the moment, but it’s what works for me 😁
Hee how do you wash your knits? I lately ruined a sweater 🙈 It was from the same wool als you are using, the drops air ,so I thought I'd ask here 🙃
u're the best!!🤩🤩🤩
