There is no need to wash wool every two weeks, especially if you don't wear it directly on your skin. Wool is actually anti-bacterial! Most of my knits I never wash despite wearing them next to skin. Try spot cleaning if you need to, instead of washing the whole garment, and hang them outside for an hour to freshen them up, alternatively steam them carefully. :) Be careful with your knits!
I'm 13 years old . . . I started knitting when I was about 10 or 9. . .🙃 I love your video. . . I love you. . . I love your sweaters and cardigan. . . 💕 You're a great inspiration for me and many others. . .😊 Love from INDIA 🇮🇳💕💕
What lovely jumpers! I’ve been knitting for over 6 years now but I’m only working on my third sweater. They’re such a big undertaking that I usually only do them for special times and events, but that has the added bonus that each one reminds me of a special place and time whenever I wear it. You’ve inspired me to whip up some more fun, casual sweaters though - always a big fan of an oversized jumper!
That’s so nice that you can tie each one to a memory :) I usually take on simple staple pieces but would like to branch out to more intricate designs soon!
This has inspired me to start knitting again. I crochet mostly, however, I love the look of knit sweaters so much more. I love the maker of some of the patterns you showed! Going to give knitting another try!
@@WellLovedKnits I had to rip out one sleeve and redo, but it’s done and looks amazingly old and well loved❣️ I’m doing another. It’s a great learning pattern.
What a lovely video and great sweaters, you have a distinct and personal aesthetic and it's interesting how the things you make for yourself show personality. Thanks also for showing Wool and the Gang, I've been thinking about trying them out. I've subscribed.
I really enjoyed this video! I am working on my hand knitted wardrobe now but am in the beginning phases. Thanks for the inspiration and the positive vibes.
I've been frantically working on my crochet and embroidery projects for the past 4 days. Being an Aries as well, I feel very seen. I live for the rush of finished things ! I also kinda want to make everything you just showed...
I find it fascinating that you guys choose a hobby like knitting then, because even me, a very patient virgo, finds some projects take ages to finish, especially jumpers (crochet not so much). But then again I am quickly bored with easy patterns 😅
Have you ever heard about "kofteluftedag"? In Norway we have some jacket called kofte. Knittet in 100% wool. Everry automatisk when it is cold in weather koster and knyttet sweaters are hang out side for a day. I hang out my woolclothes often winterstime over night.
Won't lie, I absolute hate making garments? Like I love love love lacework, so I typically stick to shawls, but lately I've been in a sweater mood, so looking at all your projects has been very inspiring! I'm thinking after getting my current cardigan off the needles, I'll try the Paloma sweater by Espace Tricot (it's a freebie on Ravelry). It's got that same classy, timeless feel that a lot of yours have, and doesn't look particularly complicated. Thanks for the closet inspo!
Thank you I loved seeing all your favourite jumpers. I have only just started knitting bigger projects. Ive only really knitted hats. I have always considered myself as more of a crocheter. But I have just recently finished my first Aran cable jumper for a 3 year old and I love the finished item. You have inspired me to buy interchangeable round needles and try top down knitting. I am also loving your knitted vest, I might knit one of those for myself, or maybe as a Christmas present. I am a bit of an eclectic creative as I also draw and paint and I have my own small ridged heddle loom :) I am not sure where I am going to find the time to do all my creative projects lol But I will have so much fun trying T x
I am so happy I found this video and your amazing channel! I've always wanted a green sweater and haven't been able to find one, so why not make my own? Love your sweater and the classy look of the white shirt underneath!
I learnt to knit as a child but stopped when I hit my teen years. I’ve just picked it up again and you’ve inspired me to try sweaters and cardigans. I have sensitive skin and don’t do too well with mohair. Do you have any suggestions for alternatives?
Hello, I bought the North sweater pattern. I would love to know how many rows did you do for the collar? Because, on the pattern, I don't like the longer rendering less and I love your rendering. Thank you! ✌🏼☺️
Omg you're so talented! All of them came out so amazing, I'm more of a crocheter but I'm picking up knitting again after about 12 years lol, used to knit with grandma but I just get discouraged because I can't seem to make a straight foundation on knitting 😥
I wish I could crochet! I think we have the opposite situation. I feel like if you’re really good in one, you struggle with the other. We just need to work through it I guess 🥵
@@WellLovedKnits you're absolutely right, I'm also about to try out circular knitting needles for the first time, don't know what to expect but pretty excited 😁😂
You have good taste in choosing colors and designs for your sweaters. I like them all. Can you tell me what color blue in the Drops brand that you used. They have 3 shades of blue available. Thanks
I think a summer knitted dress with the top from 5:24 maybe to the knees would be super cute even if it took years would be really cute 💓 (sorry for my bad english)
Just found you, love your work! Lifelong knitter over here as well. Would love to see a future video on how you join one ball to another within your projects. You can’t see tails, ends, or knots anywhere - well done!
I have a few warm weather-ish knits in mind that I mentioned in my Spring knitting plans video - but if you mean what I plan to share as my own patterns, nothing at the moment. At least not on paper! I will be releasing a mohair cardigan hopefully soon, I just need to write down the pattern and do one last test knit! Re: pricing... not sure. The kits I've purchased mainly came from WATG and I always bought them on sale. The other projects I've purchased the pattern and yarn separately. And for the North Sweater, the pattern and yarn were kindly gifted to me.
Wow! I love these, well done. I've recently picked up knitting and am currently trying to knit a cardigan from scratch. In hindsight I should have followed a pattern but I'm too far in now! Do you have any advice for knitting sleeves?
I just found out about your channel, and I really like your videos. I was wondering if you could do a tutorial on how to knit your blue cardigan. thanks
Hi! Since it's not my own pattern, I don't think I will show a step by step on this one. I don't want to overstep any boundaries with the designer. Thanks for your understanding!
There’s so many tutorials here on youtube! just start out with something simple and flat like a scarf and look through some tutorials to see which works best for you. I’d also recommend starting with bigger needles and chunky yarn so you can work up your project quick so you get so see progress! good luck!
I always struggle finding a jumper in a fit and colour I like and it never occurred to me to make my own. This video has greatly inspired me!
I love hearing that! You should definitely give it a try :)
aww no am i going to have to learn knitting now 😅 i love the look of knit sweaters way more than crochet sweaters
You can do it!! I have to say I do too, but I love crochet accessories :)

Wool is like magic, air it out and the smell just disappears. :)
So true! I spot clean my knits if I spill something on them 😀 I knit a lot of winter white and I only wash them when they look grimy around the cuff.
I have a merino wool dress and have worn it for like a month to work with only spot cleaning it. I love wool
Totally. I barely ever wash mine. Only once after making.
Wont it smell?

So glad to have you here!! I wish I knew how to crochet - it's on my list of things to try!

Love your sense of humor ❣️😄 Knitting my first for me sweater from your pattern, cozy mock sweater. Almost done and learning so much.👍🏼💛

I think in another video she said that she joins a new ball of yarn at the beginning of a row, which I thought was genius!
This is inspiring and I'm amazed that you made all this
You can do it too 😊
Hey! i'm about to knit the Cardigan No7 - what size did you knit?
Love your knits. Are you planning any summer sweater/blouses? Are the several knits you have done from different sites comparable in price?

I love the neat and expensive looks you can achieve with knitting but I'm too lazy . I prefer crotchet
Which kind of yarn have you used for crocheting your sweaters ?
please teach us how to knit baby size sweaters as well 👍🏻
That could be fun!!
Is it possible to get the North Sweater pattern without purchasing the kit? I already have the yarn....lots of it!!!
