OMGosh, so much snow. You, Gina, and Olivia are brave souls for being NH homesteaders! So many projects being completed in such a short time. Now, THAT is what one calls extreme motivation. I don't have a name for the new chicken coop, but I'm sure you'll get MANY recs from very creative subscribers. 😄 Love, love the relationship you have developed with your animals. It's so apparent how much y'all care bout them. Hope is my MOST favorite....she's one special goat! P.S. Figaro is my MOST favorite cat of ALL times! P.S. Will you be doing ultrasounds to determine number of new kids?
It is so wonderful to see Gina gain skills with the various power tools and increase her confidence. Gina, you are an excellent example for your daughter and for other young women around the globe!
You make everything look so easy! You and your wife have built 3 buildings in less than 3 months! Windows, doors, roofs, shelves to sit/stand on, hay feeders, seed feeders, walls on the overhang with windows and a door. You amaze me! It seems like you could build a small village for the homeless or at least show others how to and make a big difference in people’s life. Remember the Americacorp Just like the Peace Corps? That is what we need again in America. The old “ Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country”. Dwight gave us highways across our nation and Kennedy gave us a united excitement in pulling together. It can be done again with skilled people like you. God bless you three😇😊
Maybe get a Jamaica Cottage building this spring to store all of your lumber from past projects. You guys are always building something on your homestead so maybe it would be beneficial to you guys!
@Arms Family Homestead but you know Houston and Emily would absolutely love it!! Imagine chasing the donkey poodles around in 24" of snow....that would be hilarious.
I really enjoyed watching The Biggest Little Farm, and I hope you did as well. I just started watching your show with high hopes, and best wishes one day at a time. Thank you for caring sharing.!
I agree with the poster who said you need to make a place for all your lumber that you store outside. You also need to place a board of dunnage lumber under the tractors front bucket to prevent premature rusting.
@@YolandaEvonne and Paul Trollope, I think Al could have used his old tent frame and put new taup over and stored his wood there till he built a storage shed. Just an idea.
The Broodie Ward, The Cluck Meisters or Rusties Ranch. You need to make a shelter for all your extra lumber so it's out of the weather and with easy access. Love Calebs' hairdo, reminds me of Elvis.
I watched you use the hammer while installing window frames. While you rarely use a hammer, I suggest you try a pneumatic palm nailer. They are so easy to use, do an excellent, fast job and are easy to control in awkward places. They are cheap too. Try it, you will like it.
Lots of good name suggestions. I like Chickago , Cluckingham Palace and New Eggland the best of the suggestions. Good luck picking one name. I’m with you about the weather. It needs to NOT rain until spring is here! The rain-snow-rain is horrible!! 💙💚
Al u have the frame of the old storage shed with a good portion of the tarp intact. Duct tape! That wood should be inside it so u can do all ur winter projects with non frozen wood!
"Yoooooooooke La Homa where the cri-tters write the plaaaaay" 😉😛😁😁😁 ::edit:: Crazy White Chiken lived the life. As did the meat birds and the pigs RIP CWC 🐔
Make a dolly to fit all your skidded units make it adjustable for width so wheel's are outside not under then add a long box section to pull it around the homestead
@@roofersrus been saying he needs a carport at the back of the house.. just not butted up to the house.. and now they need another bay on the shed for the mule
My granddaughter was out of school from snow and we made two birdhouses and the thought came to me, you have a lot of scrap wood ...maybe Gina and Olivia might like to build some to. Anyway we had fun together and she painted them. I sure don’t like seeing all snow for you guys, iam ready for spring for you.
Excellent work👍👍👍. Thanks for sharing. Yolktown for the name. Also since you have the barn hasn't Gina asked when you moving the tools out of the basement. LOL
It's looking like a mighty fancy Chicken Coop / brooder. It looks like it's going to be quite heavy but with the four-wheeler and tractor you won't have any problem. Jimmy You could name it the Pit Stop, after Rusty Wallace and his pit crew.
I just finished your story about the Dr an smoking. Yall seem like a very nice hardworking couple. An l like the fact that u found another way other than meds to heal yourself. Some cures are worse than the problem.
I like New Eggland AND New Henshire also! Those are SO clever! When you get pigs for your mobile pig trailer, you can call it New "Ham" Shire! just a silly thought. Hope you all stay warm! We've been getting oceans of rain here in CT.
Possible names for chicken coop: Fowl Territory, Taj De Koop, Da Tweeta Haus, Chicken Run (like the movie), Cluckingham Palace, The Omelette Factory, Motel Chix :D Next building project should be a garage to hold your cars, Mule and Tractor! :)
Next time you go to your rough sawn lumber area bring a hammer or mallet & give the boards some half decent pounding to break the ice so you can pull them out for use. Also a shovel to shovel off some of the snow.
Good morning Lumnah Acres you always say don’t give up and don’t give in. The Cherry might look nice but stay on the course and try for the pine.one more time. Have a great day.💞💖💞☃️❄️💯🥶👀🤟
Hi Yall Love your vids, new chicken coop Memphis Tennesee, Graceland,You build them so wonderful, and fancy, i would live in one lol,I look forward to every video, enjoy your week, stay warm, see you next time ,
Log house for your lumber house? Store lumber and logs in out of the weather; drive up to a garage door and covered porch. You'll need a sawmill and maybe a kiln, eventually, to grow and cut your own lumber. Biodiversity is key.
Good mornin Lumnah Acres ... my selection for a name for the new chicken abode would be Chick-Cha-Let' Maybe you need a wood storage building ..... you could use the wood from your lumber yard ~8^) Have a great week AL, Gina & Olivia.
Good mauhnin Lumnah Acres! I am voting for New Eggland! Everyone is coming up with some great names but I think New Eggland suits it best! Take care and stay warm and dry!
Wasn't sure based on the video, but I assume the nails for the window flanges were serrated. I always keep them on hand for windows, flashing, etc. They never back out. Glad to see U used a makeshift punch for hammering them in B4 it turned into a gotcha moment! The cherry for trim will look awesome & will darken up some more over time... Bill on the Hill... :~)
I always like submitting names for your projects. I suggest the following for your new coop. That is...."NEW HENSHIRE".
Oh yes that's perfect.
@Samantha Jane Gardener Thank you both Vampy and Samantha.
You got my vote!!
Superb name
That was what I was thinking. You beat me to it. :)

The new chicken coop, you should call it "New Eggland"
I second this one!
CattVanDo I like New England also! Good choice!
That’s Eggland
And of course you are unanimous in this 😉😛😂
::edit:: An "Are You Being Served" reference
New Eggland is my vote too
I like NEW EGGLAND too
Al and Gina best and most interesting builders on U-Tube. Love your building projects, sweetest animals, and wonderful family. TFS
Sugestion.. Make a big and long hill of snow for Olivia to sled on.
That would be awesome.
It is so wonderful to see Gina gain skills with the various power tools and increase her confidence. Gina, you are an excellent example for your daughter and for other young women around the globe!
Al did you see the Rhodes boys made a crate like yours to carry firewood? Great example you are for them 😇
I did see that. They did an awesome job!

Cackleberry inn, then on the brooder side “Cheep” accommodations
And the winner in the "small feeders & shaded shelters" category is Lumnah Acres ...... Noting choices of material and exceptional craftsmanship. 🌟🎉
I like the sound of Chickago, kind of just sounds like a coop in a different place. Not close together like a whisker & a smidgen.
Maybe get a Jamaica Cottage building this spring to store all of your lumber from past projects. You guys are always building something on your homestead so maybe it would be beneficial to you guys!
Man I’m sure glad I don’t have to deal with that much snow covering all of my stuff!
@Arms Family Homestead but you know Houston and Emily would absolutely love it!! Imagine chasing the donkey poodles around in 24" of snow....that would be hilarious.
Yea but Al doesn't have that flooding creek to worry about!
i guess I'm quite off topic but does anyone know of a good site to stream new series online?
@Terrell Wayne i would suggest Flixzone. Just search on google for it :)
I really enjoyed watching The Biggest Little Farm, and I hope you did as well. I just started watching your show with high hopes, and best wishes one day at a time. Thank you for caring sharing.!
I love watching the intro with closed captioning on. Today it was “Good morning, Madam Stutters”
😂😂😂 always cracks me up!
Too funny!

I like that name.
My vote
I like this name.
I like this one also
Great video. The coop is looking good. Thanks for sharing.
"The Egg Plant" 😀
Lol Nice! 😁😁
Maybe a good summer project build would be something to store your scrap lumber in some kind of shelter.
Looks like a future project could be a covered sawn timber storage shed.
Thought the same thing. Felt bad you had to dig through all that snow to get to your wood.
@@YolandaEvonne and Paul Trollope, I think Al could have used his old tent frame and put new taup over and stored his wood there till he built a storage shed. Just an idea.
Oh! All that beautiful cherry wood!
Mmm, call it Rusty's Roost.
Thank God you upload videos for Monday morning. I wouldn't be able to start my day without you.

Since you like counting your eggs in Spanish..."Casa de Huevos" (House of Eggs in Spanish) ;)
This is my favorite!

Wow , high end chicken coop with cherry trim !!!!!
Coop de Ville.( Cadillac of all coops )
Richard Coop de Villa

Hennsylvania
Chickago
Henstead

New Henshire.

You need to call the coop, " Cooperville "
SPRING PROJECT: Move the Lumnah Lumberyard closer to the workshop and put a lean-to covering over it!
