This video contains a comparision between the upcoming rework of skarner and his old version, also 3 of his skins are compared, Sandscourge Skarner, Earthrune Skarner and Cosmic Sting Skarner.
Note that this is all WIP and subject to change!

Only real problem for me is the default model at the moment, its just far to bland in colours and detail though i am sure it will look better on release.

Looks so shit and, they just made him boring AF, Nerfing the R and removing item adaptability to force players into playing it tank...
No rotaCC anymore it seems no build adaptability nothing much is left, I hope the passive won't be as bad
yeah... I see the same... they down the E... the CC... thats is bad... I'm a skarner main top... I use E to stum, R to go tower and E... now... I dont have E... i think I need Flash do back, Use E to go for my tower and R to stay that and Exaust... much more hard...

Sorry, 20% slow, I do not count this as a CC, but if it had to count, I'd say the old E is way stronger since it is applyable more often and is stronger (50% slow and cooldown is refreshed by many ways.)
Also, all of the new skarner has standing still windup, good luck hitting ennemies running away without your E that has roughtly 25sec CD and can be flashed or dodged, just like your R or any other abilities. The old one has both MS, CC and slow, the new one has no build diversity and polyvalence, Youre going to be a tank and only a tank, or else it'll be trollpick@@icarosro
So he's gonna be all about going in with his E and pressing his op R, which keeps his other abilities weak. Like what kind of an NPC is gonna want to play this, when there is for e.g. Amumu who's gonna turn out to be much more rewarding to play. And he's a gonna be a freakin tank, with one build path, just like Udyr.
They had so much time, they were acting like they were cooking something good, something that would make Skarner players happy, so they gave us Amumu 2.0, but way more basic.

Add another character to the "Deleted and replaced with a new character that shares a name." I think Skarner was the last old league champion to get reworked. I genuinely think nothing is left.

Lore Retcon… yayyyyy! Tbh I like what they did considering the new lore, he definitely fits in better now, and they made him unique as far as scorpions go, 3 tails and 6 legs instead or 1 tail and 8 legs. His new Q looks leagues better than his old one and I heard they’re dropping the point and click ult for an AOE.
@@Noxielle how is a crystal scorpion not unique? He is just a normal scorpion now, if you want more tails and less legs then just do it.
