  • I was very fortunate enough to catch two cycles today while Iron Menace was testing! Here are some angles I found of the ride, hopefully I can get back and grab more if timing permits!
An old Steel Baron by the name of Hiram McTavish, constructed a high speed steel transporter dubbed "The Iron Menace" for his factory. One day, McTavish mysteriously disappeared without a trace, and without McTavish's leadership the steel company soon fell into disarray. One century later, riders are now encouraged to "Forge Their Fate" as they explore the abandoned ruins of McTavish Steel Company and brave "The Iron Menace"!

They placed that tilted loop perfectly 👌. That opening shot of you driving up to the park and just seeing that element front and center is fantastic. They actually really did a good job with the placement of the whole layout.

The placement of it is perfect and intimidating as you drive into the park. It also looks extremely intense as the train seems to fly through it. Looks like it pulls a lot of Gs. I think it’s the element everyone is looking forward to experience the most on Iron Menace.

The view from the top of the lift will probably be the best view of the whole park! The placement and design of everything just feels so right. 👌

@@AFCompanyYeah I agree the pacing on that loop does look insane but unfortunately that’s because the holding brake isn’t slowing it down during testing so it will be a bit slower when it’s open

The inclined loop over the "Welcome to Dorney Park" sign looks so awesome

Is this not the most random coaster addition ever. But fr this might be the fastest pacing dive machine I’ve ever seen.

The g forces that are gonna be felt on that loop seem like they are gonna be pretty intense from the views of it I’ve been seeing.

I love B&M and this coaster is a great addition to the park and will be super fun... but that's such a dated layout :/

Looks like it isn’t being held at the top of the drop like standard dives. Maybe why it’s running fast

They aren’t testing the hold yet but even so this is how fast it is running in the cold winter. It should be hauling just like this in the summer even with the hold.

I wonder if this coaster will have days where the holding break isn’t on
