I bought this for my first minimalistic pedal board at church. It’s an amazing pedal! It has excellent hall reverb, you have so many possibilities with the 3 different reverb, pre delay, and filter switch. Extremely versatile. I used the shimmer effect for a Christmas sound this year!
Great demo guys, thanks for taking the time to do this. I bought this pedal after watching this demo. This pedal paired with my fender telecaster is a match made in heaven. I will have this pedal until it dies or I do, whichever comes first. Thank you for creating this awesome line of fender pedals. That battery door is genius. You’ve exceeded my expectations. Take care guys ✌️❤️🎶=happiness

Fender “fans” are really never going to be happy until fender legitimately travels back in time to bring back the vintage stuff that only appeals to rich old men. This pedal is next level amazing, with some incredible textures for a great price and will really make a difference in my playing.
I got that pedal, it is a great match to my strat to play surf rock and rock n roll sounds. Could anybody please explain what the filter switch is doing, cause I am not sure what 'warms up the reverbs' actually refers to, as spoken in the video @05:12
Great pedal. Use it leading worship. Very spacious. Although it would have been good not too have room reverb and have put something like is on strymon bigsky such as "bloom" or "cloud" they sound awesome. BUT the 2 halls, and the special #1 is fantastic. Shimmer is nice. Love the pre-delay and dampening feature. To be honest the filter feature i cant really tell the difference, but filter is always on. Fingerpicking guitar is best. I thought a few times about selling mine, but im defo keeping it. Thanks fender
Keep saying algorithm & digital like its a good thing. Sounds like any other digi reverb on the video. If you are going to emulate then bring back the 63 reverb or some analogue sounds.
I'm just gonna reasonably complain here; First of all, I cannot stand the "shimmer" effect. I do not understand why any designer feels the need to include it, other than because it's been a trend for a few years now. - It doesn't even have anything to do with reverb, as it's basically a pitch-shift effect. Besides that it sounds tacky like some kind of early multi-effects pedal by DigiTech or what have you. - Anyway, enough about that part, I just think it's a waste of features where there could've been something way more useful (or subtle). Another complaint I have is that once again you can't access all these settings by foot. It seems a sizable enough pedal for a second stomp-switch, so something like a mode-switch for the "Variation" for example. You could even have done it so that it not only switches the "Variation" with a short (normal) tap, but also a "hold"-function to switch between the room types. But nope... Just on and off while you're playing. Quite a missed opportunity. I do, however, appreciate that the effect keeps going when you bypass, though. Which is indeed a problem on many reverbs and delays. But believe it or not, I would actually NOT buy a pedal based on "missing" things like this. It might be my very specific preference, but I just think it's logical to have such control. I never understood pedals with many features that just have an on/off stomp-switch. You should be playing, not bending over to change pedal-settings. - I might purchase this one on sale or something, though... Which doesn't benefit you, but I can't pay something like 110-130 Euros for a reverb-pedal that just turns on and off underneath my foot. - I'd rather see 3-4 different reverbs (ditch the "special" ones), less manual controls (ditch one or two switches and maybe a knob) and more foot-control. (A second or even third switch. But hold functionality to switch modes adds a lot. If it's digital anyway, you might as well take advantage of it.) Oh, and it does sounds and look good... If it didn't even sound good I wouldn't "complain" and just move on. But hey, a single person's feedback...
Hi Matt - thanks for you comment! That's actually the shimmer setting on the Marine Layer you are hearing in the background :-) This setting adds a shimmery higher octave to your signal. Make sure to check it out next time you're at your local Fender dealer.

That outro was beautiful.
2 years later but literally put the outro on repeat
This is definitely the coolest pedal of the Fender corral. Sounds like it gets you into Strymon territory at half the price.
But it has no plate hall.

That would be great for The Cure's second album!
Thanks brother's, nice tones and demonstration, and I love that black and white Stratocaster HSS. I bought one in December!
I think I've found my pick for my first reverb pedal.
Impressive!...and available to my budget.
i have the Marine Layer, and the Digital Delay,,,,,Love them both,,,Clean and great sounds!!
Really tasteful reverb, great quality of life features. Optional stereo out would've been a nice feature too.
Eric Johnson vibes. I love it! 😦👌
A girl is no one. Came here to say this!
I am buying this one for Christmas!
was it any good?
Hi Fender. Can you please make a stereo version of this. It would be amazing.
I asked for this pedal for Christmas….pretty excited to hibernate this winter !
I could listen to this outro all day
I have the Pugilist. Really love it. The Marine Layer Reverb is next on my list. Yeah Fender!
try Full Moon too! Amazing overdrive
love the jam at the end
Got the pedal, cool sounds and very versatile for recordings and gigs.
Wow, that outro was so good :)
OUTSTANDING pedal --- LOVE it!!!!!!!!!!
Excellent video guys........... inspiring me to experiment!
Awesome jam at the end!
😎🤘
Hey Fender, why aren't you demoing the dry kill feature on your pedal? I think it's really unique and great for ambient playing
My favourite reverb indeed, I have as well HOF from tcelectronics and there is one setting that is not possible to replicate with it, the cathedral.
Great, which one do you prefer ? I'm torn between the two.
This shit hurt my eyes like crazy at the guitar store I swear I can go blind from the light playing with it constantly
LEDs can be turned off
The intervention effects pedal!
Im sorry for the haters if any but fender pedals are absolutely superb.
damn this pedal sounds surreal!
I want this pedal. Those tones are great for some cool ideas
That's pretty cool. Impressive sounds. Beyond my price point, but something to aspire to.
The impro at the end of the video is so sweet. Anyone know songs similar to this?
The only thing missing is stereo. Otherwise, this Reverb really stands out from the pack right now. Good job Fender.
I’m interested
Amazing pedal sound wow!!
I definitely want to buy one!

Give over
Do you think your class? 😂
This pedal sounds really good. Great job Fender.
Can anyone tell me what is the tune he is playing in the intro of this video
Where is a Spring ?
That's a very nice pedal 😄
Does anyone know what the song played at the start is?
This pedal is sooo good, Strymon without the Strymon price.
It doesn’t seem to do the fender spring reverb or the drip of the fender tank reverb.
this video was so good I just bought one good price as well
theSupertonesurf what is that price tag?
$146
Why no spring ? It would have been perfect !
When spring is on every amp you can understand why it’s not included on the pedal.
wildebest Yeah that’s true, I can understand your point
That first song sounded so Shoegazy when that back ground pitch came in.
Does it have True Bypass for that price?
WOW
Sounds great! But, no mix / blend control? Always a 100% on?
The last knob on the right controls the level.
Why no true bypass option? I would have bought one otherwise.
Having a buffer on the end of the chain is ideal. It's a great pedal, don't let that put you off
I don't like how he has the dampening all the way down the whole time
It was up a few times. What I really like is the predelay function
No spring reverb on a fender reverb pedal? What were you thinking?
MM
Michael Montella well if you got a fender amp, then u already got a killer spring reverb
Patience, my friend.
My thoughts exactly. However, I guess not everyone who buys a Fender product has a Fender amp to play it through either.
what up
Can’t believe there is no spring or plate option.... shame.
Keep saying algorithm & digital like its a good thing. Sounds like any other digi reverb on the video. If you are going to emulate then bring back the 63 reverb or some analogue sounds.
Glen Larkin exactly
Oooargggh back in my day we had proper reverb with proper springs an' that.

That is the hardest thing to do on a guitar
Should been tap delay on it. Otherwise useless live
please dont have keyboards playing in the background
