Since two weeks i have the Comp and the Driver. They are very good. The Comp can set up very decent and gives me a solid signal if i need it and dynamic if i need it. Reacts great to my playing. The Driver is special. I play a Fender Vintera II 60's Precision Bass with 9050 Flats. The Output of this Bass is not very hot but it sounds best with the pad switch engaged. Allways tuby, allways nice. The pedals are a perfekt match for my Precision Bass and my Bassman TV12 Amp and also they look great with that simple design an that late 60's/early 70's style knobs. Thank you Fender.😊 Marcel from Germany
@@ileutur6863 don't get me wrong these can work with bass but they are FAR from being as important in terms of bass sounds and effects as what I just said.
Most compressors pedal use the PEAK of the input signal but this circuit uses the "average" of the input signal. What type of compressor is this called that takes the average of the input signal instead of the peak of the input signal? I have never heard of a compressor doing this before.
I’ve seen them live, the pugilist is on a few boards here and there. And I’m sure a lot of people are gonna have them now, the bass OD and fuzz sound great and is like to try the compressor out to see how the RMS style feels
Fender is on a roll lately. A brand I had previously written off as providing cheap gear for beginners is proving to be a real contender for serious musicians again. Kudos!!!
Weird conclusion to have come to. Between the extremely popular guitars and the extremely popular amps, there are also more professionals using their products than probably any other company. Is Marshall a brand for beginners just because they sell practice amps too? It's pretty normal for big companies to target the low, middle, and high price segments of the market.
By vintage fuzz I presume you mean germanium. Germanium fuzz reacted to your playing dynamics more than modern (silicon) fuzz. Who wrote your script? It's backwards.
Thank you Rick Grimes, sorry i meant Pete Griffin (hehehe). I just got all my first pedals together right now, but i think i will try the delay against my 30€ flamma.

Delay and Reverb before Chorus or Flanger guys? They sound fine
I love these sounds! I can see the delay and reverb pedals shining through Post Punk style bass lines (: along with the comp, that’d be awesome
Hell yeah 🤘
I’m sorry. PETE GRIFFIN?
Hehehe
I was watching Family Guy shorts before this video showed up on my suggestion. And I thought youtube has messed up 😁
I bet hes hiding a giggty pedal in the signal chain, great playing
You don't know who Pete griffin is? 😂
Hehehehe
Really digging the Driver. The compressor seems cool too, but a little hard to tell without playing through it.
Bass specific delay and reverb, awesome! Also handy for drum machines and heavy handed synths btw 👌
You get it
Glad the sublime fuzz got a modern alternative. I heard that live recently and it sounded amazing, but used prices were crazy.
A good compressor pedal at a decent price. Love it!
Most interested in seeing how the reverb turns out.
Just got my Overdrive and love it!It’s great.
Rock on. Let us hear it!
Rock on!
Can confirm the compressor is good.
Interesting also for me.
Nice comp + drive
Let's gooo 🤘
Really digging the frequency division idea
Been waiting months for this.
Want them all😮
Fender can we get a Tone Master Lite with a smaller chassis, smaller screen, less switches, less inputs/outputs on the back, smaller price tag?
🤘 Okay I'm stoked.
no bass chorus :(
Chorus would have been my third choice after comp and fuzz.
I don't think it'd be possible to beat the Bass Clone anyways. Best chorus for the best price always

Yes. Duff McKagan needs one😉
So are these gonna be kinda mid for Bass but really effing sweet for guitar?
Fuzz my fav
A good fuzz makes all the difference
The price point on these are really good.
Yes it is! The quality and sound is great.
Superb sounding and well thought out!
Hell yeah 🤘
No envelope filter? No octave? No modulation? DELAY? REVERB? What are we doing here? Did a guitar player develop this line?
All good things in time.
Don't be a square and start using delay and reveb
@@ileutur6863you first. Kind of useless unless you’re playing solo.

Yes. the answer is yes.
What bass model is being used in this video? The Player II Precision?
I believe it was, yes

Feedback RMS compression.
Fender just keeps on giving, the amount of pedals i need or wants just increased...
We try 🤘
No envelope filter or modulation?
Does Fender make a pedal that sounds better than it's counterparts? I've never seen a single person with a Fender pedal on their board
Only one way to find out. Give one a spin and let us know.

The sounds are really great. But i have question, are they same with the bass equalizer? someone please explain to me easily
These are NOT guitar pedals with a fresh coat of paint. They are designed from the ground up for bass!
Are all of these pedals digital or analog ?
Comp, Fuzz, and Driver are analog.
Delay and Verb are Digital (with analog dry path).
Pete Griffin looks so different in real life! Kinda sounds the same though 😂
very hard to tell how to Driver pedal really sounds since you have been using a cab..
I genuinely hope you don't use overdrive pedals without a cab
Bass power :-)
Sansamp Bass Driver DI all you need.
Wonder if that fuzz would have a weird effect on guitar 🤔
Only one way to find out.
❤❤❤❤❤
No octaver or envelope? I'll keep using MXR.
alternate title: rick grimes plays fender bass pedals

day 1 of commenting on every new fender video until i get a fender jazzmaster
Why would you want MORE dynamics from a compressor? Are you going to explain what you mean by this or just carry on like it wasn't fluff?
And how is 8:1 anywhere near limiting? BUZZWORD!
By vintage fuzz I presume you mean germanium. Germanium fuzz reacted to your playing dynamics more than modern (silicon) fuzz. Who wrote your script? It's backwards.
Make a preamp/DI pedal based off your Bassman head and print money.
Thank you Rick Grimes, sorry i meant Pete Griffin (hehehe). I just got all my first pedals together right now, but i think i will try the delay against my 30€ flamma.
These pedals are the most useless piece of gear fender has made… what a pile of 💩
See if you can play the Driver without cracking a smile.
Not commenting to be argumentative, but could you explain why you dislike them? Just curious, and would love to hear fleshed out opinions
Still waiting on the Acoustisonic Jazz Bass.
