I just bought the legion 5 pro 3060 2021 edition in INDIA it will arrive tomorrow and i am very excited got it for around 1100 usd usually it sells here for 1400 very happy here bought after watching ur reviews
Hi Ben, great video! I have a G14 right now, happy with it but considering switching to Lenovo for my next machine, as they seem to have better thermals.
Hey ben. Thanks for your helpful clips. I’m nervous about getting a legion 5i due to all the online fuss about the 14th gen intel chips. What’s your opinion on that? I’m even almost considering the ideapad pro 5 with a ryzen 7 and rtx4050/32gb ram, just to be able to get an amd instead of intel since they don’t have legions with amd here in my country. But I’m concerned the thermals won’t be as cool as on the legion. What’s your opinion?
The placement of the mousepad, slightly of center is great, feel like my arm get to a better placement while using it, i alway have my mouse between my keyboard and my body, when i use my work or private desktop , more egonomic and puts less strain on shoulder etc. So ++ to lenovo for placing it more to the left! If this is by design or not.
Pro 7i Gen 8, if i'm not mistaken, only has the back side vents plastic. Slim 7i Gen 8 is full metal. Pro 5i Gen 8 and Slim 5i Gen 8 only have metal lid.
I'm waiting for the Lenovo LOQ laptop reviews. I don't see any reviews on RUclips yet. I'm an interior designer 3d visualiser and I use sketchup , 3ds Max with enscape or lumion. Right now I'm using my old MSI laptop equipped with GTX1060 and i7 7th Gen. Looking for an upgrade as I would like to use raytracing for my 3ds and D5 render engine
I love how you give your reviews- thats why I subscribed asap😁i learned a lot from you! You definitely brought a lot of value especially if one decides to buy a laptop❤
Thank you. I am a creator/gamer and I like to use the laptop as a desktop replacement and therefore I hook it up to a monitor and I fold the laptop into a vertical stand. I have a couple questions that no reviewer talks about: How well does the 5 and 5i power widescreen monitor for gaming? And what do these laptops look like plugged in with their chargers? The latter question may seem odd but I like to use my laptop connected to a monitor and placed in a vertical stand and that leaves the question of how to orient the laptop because of the rear power cord placement
The lenovo have air outlets on the sided and rear, intakes under the bottom. So just make sure that you all vents are open and not blocked. Power goes in on the back. I am also using my laptop with an external monitor, and have had no issues at all, infact some games runs better while using an external monitor (small FPS boost).
I don't know the T and P series thinkpads, but the E and L series had soft rubbery coating, that looked like poor quality and fingerprint magnet. New Zenbooks have somekind of plasma coating that looks very nice. With ThinkPad, they charge you extra 4-500 € for Oled Upgrade, then in price level, you are on the territory of Yoga Pro line, which has much better build quality.
The laptop is quite nice but I kinda wish it had RTX 4080 option because rest GPUs from 4070 and below are kinda bad with no big improvement (please don't preach me about DLSS 3 and FG!!!).
agree, the RTX 4070 is not really worthy of having the 70 prefix. But then again its a laptop gpu, and the aim is still 1080p even though it comes with a 1440p screen. They are however available with 4080 from Lenovo, that card is not reserved for the 7 pro or 7i pro.
I dont understand the hype about these legion laptops. They look generic / boring and feel kind of cheap when trying it out in person. Its doenst have a gamer look but also doesnt have a office notebook look to them. Pricing isnt better then other brands over here. I know this is personal and a but what am i missing?

Especially with the new Slim 5 Lenovo has.

Can't please them all, for everyone that complains there two that are totally fine with it or use a mouse the majority of the time.
Any chance you review the slim 5i model?
I asked him before he said yea but it’ll be awhile until they sent it to him
legion toolkit far surpasses vantage with it's features and light resource design. The fan control makes sense in that software VS vantage.
I got this baby for around $1600 and I am loving it!
Bought this laptop seeing your many vids on the 5i pro... M telling u legion5i pro is a bang for buck.... Thanks Ben 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙏🙏🙏🙏
Glad you're digging your 5i Pro!
4:36 wait, which legion pro 7 has aluminum top cover, aluminum keyboard deck and aluminum bottom cover?
the gen 7 model lol
@@zinelabidineturki3670 legion pro 7 gen 7? Because he said legion "pro". Where can i find it? I don't find any legion pro 7 gen 7 😅

Will you review the Legion Slim 5 ?
Great video what's your opinion of Lenovo yoga slim 7 pro gen 7 16"?? can you review of it please?
Battery life please
Biggest question is, will it have mediocre battery life like it's big 16 core subling the 7945hx?
I do prefer this design over the Legion 5i Pro tho. A bit sleeker.
Just ordered this exact same model with the 4070!
how is it? i’m thinking of buying that model too
@@jaydencheema7868 Its a beast of a machine
Hi ben can you please make a review for lenovo LOQ laptop?
What about the 7 pro?
legion slim 7 gen8 any time soon ?
Looks beautiful definitely gonna upgrade to the legion 5 pro then 😂
4:30 as far as i know, the 7/7i has a plastic keyboard deck and bottom. Only the lid cover is aluminium.
You are wrong. There are plenty 7i pro reviews stating aluminum bottom.
Just ordered pro 5i with 13900 and 4070. Can’t wait😂😂😂😂
Which one do you recommend Predator helios 16 2023 or Legion 5i pro 2023

@Ben G Kaiser Please review Lenovo LOQ?
I'll hopefully get my hands on one soon.
1st comment from 🇱🇰 .Its my favorite ❤
When will the yoga 9i 16 inch release in Canada?
legion series is the best laptop for me
Thought it was the slim 5i model 😂
I don't see the point of the "tap test", it's a laptop not a watermelon. 🍉
Some laptops sound so CHEAP and rattle when you tap them. My hope is that it provides the viewer to some context to how it MIGHT feel and holding it.
Like before watching ❤

You go for the look, often window dressing, most others care more about function.
Looks like a basic Lenovo laptop...no way it looks gamery
That's why it's suitable for everyone
So get a ‘gamers’ for yourself. Many don’t care over-done styling anyway while Function matters.
@@jamiered2659 yo i did.. not flashy but looks way cooler.. asus flow x16
Hii
it is thick
I guess the cooling requires space.
Bro why do you always review Lenovo laptops lol
Along with others, YES I do!
compare it to the 5i
Always my favourite laptop series ❤
