LOL!! I've been eyeing the Pro5 AMD / 4070 version for about two months now and since my job has an employee perks program with Lenovo I was able to not only take advantage of "Black Friday" deal going on but also an additional $85 dollars that brought it down to $1300 and $1390 with tax. I got the version with the better 500Nit / HDR Screen and just purchased some Crucial 5600mhz 32 gigs of Ram off Amazon. Since my wife uses Adobe Suite and OBS for graphic design and recording Crochet videos. Thanks for all your more realistic reviews and covering working professional performance and leaving all the "gaming" stuff out. There's enough of that, and the grown up who are buying these aren't just playing a video game. So thanks again. It'll be here Friday!

Because there are an infinite amount of gaming streamers that record their gameplay and overlay the active settings on the screen to view real time. There are literally hundreds of those videos. What there aren't hundreds of videos on is the stuff he is covering.

He’s a RUclipsr that markets to people who need laptops for creation, productivity, and the like, and even though I love games, gamers are so sucked up in their sweaty world, believe it or not, there are hundreds of millions of people out there who don’t give two fucks how many frames per second you can get in Dragon’s dogma 2 with a 4070, you can’t scroll past any video of these laptops without someone giving you gaming benchmarks, watch those and not the guy who has a specific audience he’s creating videos for.
The only reason people in this space use gaming laptops is because they have high end components for a comparatively low price than something like a MacBook which is perfect for creators.

Pro 5 has been a no brainer since I saw it. If you already have desktop, highend tablets like Tab S8 Ultra and a few mid-range business laptops the Legion Pro 5 hits all the right spots without spending a ton of money and still feeling like you won't need to think about another laptop for the next 4-5 years at least.

I don't understand why Lenovo still isn't offering a 2-in-1 convertible option in the Legion line-up! It'd be perfect to have them as a 14 inch convertible.
As of now only ASUS ROG flow X13 is a proper high performance 2 in 1 laptop with a dGPU, but it's 2023 and we NEED more options in the "2 in 1 high performance laptop" segment!!
(for clarity, I mean a 2 in 1 touchscreen laptop with dedicated GPU that can be rotated 360° amd be used as a tablet too)
    P. S. I'd need that for engineering. Productivity + dGPU for solidworks/CAD would've been a killer conbo!
