Silly American, 45% of players in the league are Canadian and I think you forgot about a thing called the Olympics that we have dominated for almost the entire existence of hockey.
You have 10 times as many people in your country yet we produce almost the same amount of elite athletes in every single other sport.

The Canadiens won a Cup in 1993. The Flyers haven't won a Cup since 1975 and the two Cups they won in their history in 74 and 75 was because of the creation of the World Hockey Association. It depleted the other teams of their top talent and also allowed the Flyers to get back Bernie Parent.
