this song is interesting because it can have some many interpretations - i personally think he's asking the music to save him - you can see when the car is breaking down it's falling apart with the drum beat until he can finally escape - but then at the end you see he's back in the car again - i think saying he's going to have to do this whole battle again the next day this video is also a prequel to a trilogy of music videos they have - you'll probably want to get to know their music more before you jump into those b/c there is a story behind them
Yep, and you can see in one scene someone else (Blurryface / Nico) is driving the car and in another scene no one is driving, but in all cases Tyler is in the back seat, so he didn't feel like he was in control.

The shadowy figure driving the car at times in this video is called Blurryface (a characer tyler created to personifiy his anxieties and insecurities) who is referenced in their songs Stressed Out and Goner. this video is kinda like a prequel to a trilogy of videos from their next album which makes the most sense when you watch in order (Jumpsuit->Nico & the Niners-> Levitate).
