I've Never Met a Mezcal I've Liked!

Taylor has never met a Mezcal that he liked. Rich LOVES Mezcal. Rich recruited Dave Lather of Maguey Melate to change his mind! Maguey Melate specializes in ultra small batches of Mezcal from Mezcaleros that the US would never see. They believe in the Terroir of Mezcal as each spirit will inherently reflect the plants, the distillation, and the people! All the mezcals that were tasted during this session (we only show 4 out of the 8 we tasted) all represent a different style and have very different flavors.
While Taylor was a skeptic, there is little question that Maguey Melate spirits are fascinating and serious agave drinkers should add them to their collections.

Great video, I think I finally understand why mezcal is so remarkable. I've casually enjoyed them in the past but the explanation of styles/process/range just made the light really go on ( as it clearly did for the Town W+S guys), thanks to the rep/importer Dave for that. I want to find these and try them!
