Abundance Is A Choice posits two beliefs: the first is that our mindset determines whether we live a life of abundance or a life of poverty and the second is that we can choose our mindset.
The speaker, Elaine Starling, describes the wake-up call a stroke gave her at age 43. This triggered a crash course in personal development resulting in an epiphany, adoption of an abundance mindset and a life transformed.
In Abundance Is A Choice, Elaine explains that our ability to choose abundance over poverty is driven by two forces: attention - what we focus on - and intention - how we want to feel in the moment.

Edward, so true! I've come to realize that the "contrast" between what is wanted versus unwanted is there to provide momentum and urge us to choose what we want - abundance or...? This is a lifelong practice that becomes easier and easier.

I love this! It may take time and effort to retrain your brain to think abundantly rather then in poverty but it's absolutely doable
Love this, Elaine! I can definitely relate to going down the personal development rabbithole in an attempt to find the "answers." And flow state, which you imagine, is the absolute ideal state to be in! And yes, adopting an abundance mindset is absolutely a choice (and as you state, we can tell when we're in poverty mindset, it just feels more restrictive and "not good.")
