- One man cover of Eleanor Rigby by The Beatles in the style of Depeche Mode.
As a huge Depeche Mode fan I have always wondered what other band's songs would sound like if written and produced by them. I thought that Eleanor Rigby - a masterpiece by The Beatles - might work well within the Depeche Mode's dark synth sound. I also tried to support the vibe with the visuals (although limited by my small studio space and equipment) to at least remotely imitate the atmosphere of Depeche Mode's videos from the great master Anton Corbijn. It's really impressive, I don't know the original song, but this really sounds like a Depeche Mode song. To say you have talent is reductive, there is a lot of practice and dedication and passion in what you do. an example for other musicians.

It would have Martin's backing vocals to accentuate the end of lines rather than the choral singing.
I agree, Martin accentuating end of lines in some higher harmony would be more typical for DM... thanks for your comment.

Hi! I did request many people to mash "Garbage" "The trick is to keep breathing" and DM "Stripped". But nobody did (yet). Here's the idea: What if Depeche mode wrote "The trick is to keep breathing" or if Garbage wrote "Stripped" :-)

where did u get the samples from?
Actually different bits and pieces from different places. I started by Googling, went through several Reddit forums, but also just simply sampled some DM songs directly into my DAW. And also many sounds in the songs are actualy VST instruments and synths.
Sounds more like The Sisters of Mercy. Like it nevertheless.
