just a note about nina's can opener, you can sidestep out of it. its uf4,3,4 ss, it will cancel the last high and lets her continue with fake ss1 pressure and steal her turn back, jab beats it out though. So low parrying would be the best way to avoid this whole situation at the expense of a fat punish

Super useful video! The thing about victors 2 string is that if they’re good they will avoid using it all together. There are other options for strings that accomplish similar things with less risk. Still great to know to duck it though in case they do. Especially ranks below Purple they may still rely on it.
You are definitely right. The higher I climb the less I see it for sure - I should have put more emphasis on the fact that at low ranks, Victors are going to be mashing this on you
FYI: they added a mid extension after Law’s b+2 in this game so youre still at risk of eating a mid. I think its a similar situation to Jun’s iirc but Im not sure atm (not at home to test it out😂)

For the first kazuya string , playing as jin you can go for (up+3) when kazuya goes for the low . This will give you a counter hit launcher

Good catch! I think it’s a fair trade off b2,1 being -15 OB. Risk vs reward is in your favor to block and launch it
