@PhiDX I'm a Tekken veteran since TTT1 and while this information isn't new to me. I can confidently say that this is one of the best beginner guides I've seen for Tekken. It's very well put together, you've got the gift of not only being a very good player but what not many of the top players have is the gift of being able to explain their train of thought and share knowledge in a clear and concise manner.
I also really like that you put a lot of comparative screens next to each other, you also transition one bit of information into the next part in a very fluid manner. With very clear on-screen examples and concise text with highlighting for the stances.
Great job man! perhaps Bamco should hire you to do some videos for them in the future :D

Ive been playing tekken since T3. I didnt start trying to learn in depth until T7. And even though i feel like i have a good understanding now, I love watching these beginner guides as refreshers so as to not forget my fundamentals.
Great video man! Im subscribing 🤙🏾

Thank you so much man! I started playing Tekken as a kid in Tekken 3. much was intuition - but you made it a science to appreciate!

I'm about halfway through, and this is excellent, man. Definitely going to send this to anybody who needs it, I'm seeing so many new people in twitch streams asking questions that this video answers. I was wondering why you haven't streamed for a few days, this is definitely worth it. 👍

Thanks a lot for the guide! Tekken 8 is my first Tekken game (I haven't played fighting games properly since, like, SNES), and it's quite intimidating for a newbie (the "special", simplified control style doesn't sound like my thing).
Got hooked on the visuals and the dynamic gameplay, but it has so much going on under the hood that it's rather overwhelming. Good thing players like you are out there to help out!

I'm a returning player, but this was still a great watch as a refresher. The information was delivered in a very clear and concise way, sticking to only what's important. This'll be my go-to guide to recommend to new players.

I have played fighting games my whole life (mostly Mortal Kombat) and have absolutely loved this transition to Tekken 8. I am trying to learn everything I can with the ambition to compete. Thank you for the video. You are a great teacher. It would be so sick to have you as a partner or a 1 on 1 coach. Keep these goated videos coming!

I have been a casual tekken player since Tekken 3 but I really want to improve with combo’s etc. This video has been very helpful. One of the best videos/guides out there to start with your Tekken journey!!

I needed to revisit the basics.
Since starting in tekken 7 I went over the getup subtilities and other basis. Your vid helped me learn fundamentals thanks !
Also your explanations never got old in 30 min video :)

thank you man. ive watched a lot of guides in my life and the question that was in my head still is "what now". i really liked your way of teaching saying "learn your +10 and 15(...)" because it gives me a straight forward way on what to focus on.
i really liked Josie in T7 but unfortunately shes not here anymore. Getting into a new character (azucena) was really overwhelming and it felt like i needed a quick step back on what to do now. Your video really helped me and i usually dont comment but please keep on doing these type of videos and advices on where to continue the practice.

As someone who has never played a Tekken before(or just doesnt remember when I played it last), this guide really helps. There's a lot to understand in this game, so it'll definitely take a little while to grasp a lot of the mechanics, but this is a great tool to help make it easier!
