i love it when you can tell an actor is having a hell of a time hamming it up in a cheesy role. malcolm mcdowell is clearly having a ton of fun here.

Malcolm McDowell is actually very sweet and endearing as Reginald Von Lupin, even though this isn't the first time he was an unwelcome quest in someone's house.

Omg omg. I remember this airing on Showtime in the 80s back when there were only 4 movie channels and 15 or so basic cable channels! Malcolm McDowell scared the crap out of me! Look at these veteran actors! Wow! Thank you for this walk down memory lane! ❤️

Miss Kitty when this was aired in India in 1990, it was shown on the only channel available - the Government run Doordarshan channel.
I was 4/5 years old at the time and I don't remember much except that the visual cinematography was of extreme high quality and I used to be scared and thrilled at the same time.
I didn't know the name of this series and I grew up thinking this was a Russian series 😄 because at that time we were tight with the Soviet Union.
only a few weeks ago I found the name of this and here I am to appreciate this program now that I've grown up 😆
