Many years ago I was walking on the beach in Portsmouth in the UK - almost no one else around - and in the distance I could see a bright light high in the sky that was getting progressively brighter. Then the light began to grow wings and I started to hear the roar of jet engines. A Royal Navy Sea Harrier rapidly came to a stop not too far from my location - hovered just above the sea - turned 360 degrees of yaw, lifted its nose and then thundered off back into the sky. Having one's own Air Show was unforgettable!

If more wing space from nose to aft of the cockpit would work. It's all about the maths. The main reason planes are the shape thay are is due to the need to carry a pilot, in a way to see around the plane best, given the level of tech available at the time. At high speeds rapidly shifting direction, that we humans can survive. A pilot in a gel filled sleep pod with a VR interface may potect pilot better. Given modern tech the need for a forward mounted one or two seat cockpit is just tradition at this point. If even more wing space is needed a modern bi-plane or tri-plane design might work even better.

Super - das neue Video - neues Projekt ?? Klasse.... aber wieso macht Ihr nicht erstmal für die SU-XR ein printable 3D Datensatz ? Meines Wissens kann man die Vertilvariante der SU-XR noch nicht selbst drucken - oder habe ich was übersehen ;)
Wir brauchen hier auch mal ein bisschen Abwechslung 😁👌
@@renerosentraeger ...ja ok - das verstehe ich ;) .... mal was Neues bringt wieder andere Interessenten rein... ich folge Eurem Kanal - egal was kommt - ob alte Projekte oder Neue - Du und Dein Team, Ihr macht das klasse !! Weiter so... ich habe durch Euch inspiriert inzwischen sage und schreibe 6 Drucker ;) - 3 FDM und 3 Resin Drucker... die laufen fast Tag und Nacht - mal sehen, was die Stromrechnung dieses Jahr bringt... hoffentlich nicht die Privatinsolvenz hahaha....

Noch ein sehr Interessantes Projekt. Gibt es schon ein paar Eckdaten bezüglich der Spannweite und der erwarteten Geschwindigkeit?
2m lang 1,4m breit und mindestens 200kmh sollten schon drin sein 😁💪
