I'm pretty sure peter could have rigged a heatsheild without calling some guy in teh navy...LOL.
He was most likely given a script of the sort and had to follow it, no matter how idiotic it seems
I mean shouldn't he put some extra effort into the aircraft to house the engine inside the fuselage rather than out in the open? It is sponsored by the US Navy after all. But it wouldn't be possible for a frame made out of styrofoam.
Yea the whole thing was clearly scripted.
It is propaganda shit. It is exactly why I stopped watching tv and went to RUclips. Now the shit followed us here.
@@ratnapatil2827 Heat shield ducting inside the jet. He can buy a block of heat proof brick and carve it out and shape it to the desired dimensions.
The whole “navy helping” thing really made me laugh 😂

Andrew Ukken they were simply marking him for a post-dated cruise missile strike.

For heat shield what about using welding fire cloth.
5:37 looked like an actual F/A 18 hornet was filmed from the wing mans cockpit
Good to see the US Navy getting involved with creators out there!
That guy has the most bland comments and i dont see how he had any help in this build lol he just says needs tin foil, oh no and oh wow🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 great help
Ur an idiot. They're meant to do it on their own. Plus tin foil worked didnt it?
@@geendrip exactly but I do agree wth the bland comments part
He is just given a script to read, then they record him and in editing they put it together to look like a convo
It's as if boat boy isn't qualified to give Peter advice about building model planes...
“Good luck on your flight Peter!” Feels like a kids tv show lol
It was nice to see the US Navy get involved this way.
Cant wait till he makes one of these with 2 engines in the back
“Sponsored by the navy” wtf i was so confused. Since when did the navy sponsor a youtuber?? Kinda cool ngl
Smarter Everyday has good videos sponsored by Navy.
They creeped into social media because every year people are less likely to join the military...you can see that trend in most western countries actually. Imo they should stay away
we love the youtubes

@@legoyoda2773 you know aircraft carriers exist, right? Do you think they just don't use the jets when they malfunction?
Making something fly , is a dream and dream was made possible by hard work and a sponsor : )

said casually. Pfffftttt
Another young promising engineer grabbed by the militech industry. what a tragedy.
Yes... we definitely asked for a navy recruitment ad... I do miss the days you guys sorta described stuff lol. Feels like the target audience has shifted. I miss experimental airlines.
Peter: I need to shield the plane from heat
Navy: use a heat shield
