  • Welcome back to another episode of Dusty Trails and Drone Tales. In this episode, we have a HUGE REVEAL of a MAJOR UPGRADE for the channel. We then head to the Timberland trail head in Sussex in search of some of the best scenic spots Sussex has to offer. On this ride, we hit the Bluffs Lookout, #7 Lookout, then on to Poley Mountain Lookout on the way to Big Salmon River followed by Martin Head Beach. We finish off the day with a stop at Adair's Wilderness Lodge for dinner before heading back to Timberland to load up and head home.
    Follow along with us to check out the scenery as we head out on a full day's worth of riding!

    Those are some of my favorite trails and lookouts. Great video, love the drone shots, very well done. I haven’t seen Big Salmon River bridge yet, I’ll have to check it out next time I’m in the area. Congrats on the upgrade! Thanks for sharing, Cheers and be well!

    Sussex was fun, but a little rough. Going thru the mountains. Great video, keep it up. It's inspiring to me.

    I went out to Sussex last fall and it was incredible. We booked a cottage to bring some friends out who have never been there before. Absolutely the most underrated trails in the maritimes without a doubt.

      I agree. It's a great trail system and we barely scratched the surface in this video.

      @@dustytrailsanddronetales I'm trying to plan a trip to Martin head from parlee brook road and I'm not sure which road to take. Is it the goose creek road that takes you down to the beach?

      @DoritoMcBeef once you hit trail #3407, the trail to Martin Head Beach is marked with a sign. You'll go through the bridge at Quiddy River. From there, it's about 10-15 minutes out.
      The Quad NB app if you don't have it will be a huge help. The road down to the beach is marked in the app as White Car Road.

    We were there that weekend you had the drone out. It wizzed by us when we were playing washer toss and sitting around our campfire. Any way you have us on video? That would be super awesome. We were all waving at the drone as it went by lol

      I double checked the raw drone footage files. You might be slightly out of frame in one of the shots, but it's hard to tell.

    You actually visited all those spots in one day?? How many Kms or roughly hours for the whole trip?

    • @dustytrailsanddronetales
      @dustytrailsanddronetales  29 дней назад

      We did. Took our time and were out about 12 hours not rushing. Did about 120km.

      Yes, I do have a gpx file. We were out for about 12 hours, but we were taking our time and stayed a bit at the stops.
