I basically rely on this practice every morning to survive the day as a kindergarten teacher with calm and present energy. Every single morning for a year now
I do your sleep breathwork, your morning breathwork, your anxiety breathwork, and several other videos. Thank you for this. Thank you for not making it "spiritual" and allowing it to just be about the skill of breathwork.
This routine brought me to tears by the end of it. It taught me that breathwork doesn’t need to be so intense all the time to be powerful. Thank you for sharing, new sub 🌞🙏
Thank you, I've been dealing with breathing issues due to stress I believe. And not one time did I struggle to get air during this practice. It just shows me it's a mental and stress type of thing. I will incorporate this into morning routine. ❤
I love none of this was forced. I did my first breathwork class in Costa Rica and it was way to intense and my shoulders and neck were very tight whereas the tipe you gave, focus on your diaphragm not lifting your shoulders etc was a game changer thanks!
I been wanting to do breath work for a while now , today I really stopped playing and actually did it , ima continue to do it after today ! ( like my comment please)
Thank You for sharing your knowledge it is exactly what I was looking for, you have a very soothing voice and the session isn't long however it is very effective. Thank You so much again, tabby d.
Hi Kirsten! I recently started watching your videos to help with anxiety, and I've found them really helpful and calming. I noticed that there's a background sound in this video that sounds like a heartbeat. At first, I thought it was my own heartbeat, which had me feeling more anxious. When I paused the video, I realized it was coming from the video itself. I just wanted to share this feedback with you in case you think removing that sound could make future videos even more helpful for people dealing with anxiety. I hope you don't mind me mentioning this-I really appreciate the effort you put into creating content that helps others. Thank you for all that you do!
Thanks for mentioning it! Yes I have had people mention it, and many people enjoy the calming sound and connection of that heartbeat but I understand everyone may have a different reaction to it. I often wear my mic on my chest so sometimes it pics up that sound and I don't have much control in that case. I can see how I might be able to remove it in the future. But thank you for your note and glad to hear you enjoy my videos.
I really enjoyed this and really needed it too, many blessings to you 🙏 ❤ thank you for your kindness and creations. Your gentle tone was so blissful thank you so much 🥰
This is the most complete breathwork video in such a short amount of time! I can’t believe I just found you - hope you continue to post in the future 🙏 thank you so much!
I really appreciated that practice. It has been a bit hectic for me lately and as someone who practiced daily for the last few years it's good to get back into it regularly. I hope to use this one once a day for the next week maybe even twice a day. Thank you for this sweet short session. It makes it feel much more doable. 💜💜💜🌞
@@KirstenMcCormick yeah slowly but surely rebuilding structure and routine into the uncertainty of the day haha. I just got certified pranayama so I am hoping I will be able to teach short classes like this so I can help people also.
Thank yooou❤❤ that was so helpful I woke up today with headache laziness and tired and tried everything to fix it ,water tea exercise... I didn't know that I just needed some oxygen .
How did you learn breathwork? I love your videos SO MUCH. my favorites on RUclips. I would like to be a breath coach some day and am curious how you got so good!
hi there! I learned breathwork over the course of my career and experiencing and studying various practices, philosophies and techniques. Experiencing various methods and discovering what you gravitate towards yourself can be very helpful in mastering it and choosing a path.
Thank you so much for guiding us through this process! It's really helpful and beneficial. I recently started doing it every morning and I really feel more fresh which helps me in studies a lot.
I appreciated you confirming where it was breathing out through the nose or mouth! One thing I notice that I struggled with was understanding the short quick breaths. The noise coming out of your mouth was different than mine and almost like a pressure gauge being released. Is there somewhere I can learn more about this technique?
I loved this! I do have a question I didn't catch below if someone asked but why is it that every time I try some deep breathing exercises I cannot stop yawning??
Didn't notice it the first I did this breathwork practice, but anyone else mildly amused with her heartbeat ? Idk I found it so calming to listen to while doing the breathwork.
I’m just noticing it for the first time (my 3rd time implementing this exercise). The heartbeat is a very powerful, natural touch to accompany this healing modality.
I was just led to your this breath work video. I did it and feel so much better ❤️ just curious are you in Mccormcik SC? I live in Greenwood. Wondering if you do in person yoga?
Thanks so much for those video. Started making it part of my morning routine. One question I have is, the 4 and 8 second breathing are supposed to be through the nose, right?
It’s crazy how just a little bit of breath work can go such a long way
Right?! So glad you enjoyed it
Lol me seeing this comment after ive been stalling on doing bw
@KirstenMcCormick I'm one of those crazy young men that takes my shirt off in Yoga class.
It is our superpower….although I’ve been putting it off 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️

Always breathe in through the nose. You can breathe out through either the nose or mouth.
