- A GREAT PATTERN FOR SEARCHING OUT TROUT.
IT IS VERY EFFECTIVE WHEN USED ON BOTH FLOATING AND SINKING LINES AND WORKS WELL WHEN FISHED UNDER AN INDICATOR.
THE JIG MOVEMENT IN THE TAIL AND THE U.V. IN THE FLY IS HAS GREAT ATTRACTION TO THE FISH.
Hi Alec, I should add that not only do enjoy the tying videos but also the ones where you illustrate how to fish the flies you tie. That is invaluable information and has helped me no end. Unfortunately my local trout fishery is catch and kill which is a shame as I would much prefer to catch and release to cooking my catch! Cheers
Thank you Trevor, I try and help any new people into the sport , as much as possible, with my limited knowledge. When I started fly fishing in my mid fifties, it was a total new world of fishing compared to the 35 years of competitive sea angling I did around the country.
The thing with fishing is you never stop learning, know matter how old you are, and hopefully never stop enjoying it .
