Where do you have them sit right next to you if you do? Please answer. Third year online college student studying elementary education.
Idk if this applies to America but usually teachers from last year tell the students for your class their friends, how they behave, etc etc. That's what I've been told (I'm not a teacher and I don't leave in America so sorry if this isn't the case for you).Have fun teaching!
